pretty cool
Cool, I want it nooooowww!! Whan when it comes I will take vacation.
Where the **** is SF?!
Oh wow.
I've been meaning to ask, is there any way to preview any of these themes and icons before you slap down the points for them? I've not seen anything yet, and if there isn't, that's a feature that should be added to the marketplace at some point if possible.
I agree Dante, I purchased a couple of themes early on that turned out to be really crappy, so there's no way I'm going to spend any more money on themes unless I know what I'm getting.
ya Dante you can check out the themes and pics by going to xbox.com and then going to the xbox live tab and then marketplace =D
You is the best Major. Hitman owns me.
AWESOME! I was totally waiting for this to come out. It came out on the day it was promised too.
Do you guys remember a year or so back, there was some talk of user-created content being the next big thing and even the possibility of users selling their wares on the Live Marketplace - and wasn't it J Allard who put this idea forward this revolutionary idea? ;)
For me, this little innocation can't come soon enough... then perhaps themes and the other assorted nickel-and-dime gimmickry Live Marketplace is becoming rife with, might actually settle for a more reasonable price.
....which makes me skeptical it'll ever happen.
Heres an idea: how about reducing the price of games back to circa 2004 levels, making them more accessible to gamers, and making back the difference using advertising and this marketplace theme/picture pack tat?

Chappy I recommend any of the Kameo Themes (if you are a fan), Tomb Raider and the Halo 3 Theme. These are all high quality Themes. Stay clear of anything from EA as it's usually cheap crap you could make yourself since all four blades are the same. Themes that come on the OXM360 magazines are also good...and FREE! (after you bought the mag obviously). Anyone wanting to play Smash TV Co-Op to gain Achievements add my Gamertag. WHEN WILL THERE BE DOA4 THEMES?
I still think these sort of things should be free. There are plenty of developers out there that offer free high-res wallpapers for their games, so why not free themes for us 360 users? After all, an awesome looking theme or some snazzy little gamerpics can serve as great advertising for a game..
here is my opinion on what microsoft should do, if they care about us. whenever we buy a game like hitman, we should get a code for the marketplace content like themes and gamerpics so we can download them free of charge if we own the game. i know "free of charge" is the equivelant of using the n word at microsoft, but how cool would that be? u buy hitman, u have payed ur 60 dollars +tax, and u should be entitled to its content. if some guy who never payed for the game wants a hitman pic, let him pay for it. microsoft didnt think alot of stuff out, they just wanna make money.
I completely agree!

That would be up to the game publisher, not Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't own the content for Hitman. You're complaining to the wrong people.
SpinningCaveman:
Free hi-rez wallpaper = free themes.
Drop the wallpaper on your windows computer and share it through Windows Media Connect, or toss it on a thumb drive or your ipod, and view the item in the picture viewer on the 360.
While in thumbnail view, highlight the image, then hit x. Voila, free theme.
I have this one on my 360 right now:

@logic. Stop making sense. You're going to completely ruin aries' crap ideas and lower his self esteem.
looks like Immersion technologies are sorry they sued Sony now, click on my name, thats the link
go to globalfs.net for an Xbox live clan
I doubt they're sorry, they're just making a forward looking statement that they would be better off if Sony didn't include rumble in their controllers, but DID have rumble support in the console for 3rd party controllers, since they would then be able to sell licenses to the 3rd parties.
If PS3 hits 5 million and then dies in the water as Wii and 360 take over 80% of the market, then they won't be crying in their cheerios over it, believe me.
The reality will be somewhere in between.
I would really, really like to be able to put 4 different babes, I mean photos of things, on each different blade.
ExpandedFlame,
Where the #$%& is SF, bro?
