The Prey demo won't be hitting today.  It's a timing thing.  We should see it Monday, methinks.

This is all fine and dandy but where the f* is the Prey demo promised today?!?! Would be nice if Major Nelson would comment on that. The demo was advertised all over the place as being available on June 22 and now forums all over the 'net are raising cain about the fact that it's not available and apparently won't be. Don't announce dates unless you can stick to them!!!

That suck's its not for the UK aswell.

The reason it's only US and Canada, I think it's because the film comes out later in other countries.  Unless Superman Returns is a global release on the same day... I wouldn't see the reason to force advertise it soon soon to other countries.  Plus when they advertise films to other countries they get their own special trailers with subs or dubs.  Like Japan's Apple quicktime movie trailer site is a prime example of how US trailers get distributed.

Meh don't worry it's only Superman, not like your missing anything.

Stop trying to distract people with this useless information and tell us why the Prey demo is not on live.

Its a "timing thing" !?, its called msft not living up to a date, again. I am sorry i dont mean to get uppity about this but the summer game dry spell sucks, Prey looks to be at least interesting, while we wait for better games.

The likly thing is this "timing thing" should be refered to as "suck a little more hype, out of yet another FPS".

Whelp back to guitar hero, perhaps i can dust off the 360 for hounds next month.

Thanks for the info major, but as you can guess we have two major concerns going on right now. Firstly is the Prey demo, and secondly the GRAW uproar. Yes, nothing you or MS can do about both, seeing as the GRAW pricing is in Ubi's hands, but it is too high a price. Then the Prey demo, something which everyone is looking forward to. Yet now we hear it will be delayed possibly until next week. Can you possibly do an in-depth look into how content is put onto the marketplace and the time it takes from passing certification to get onto the marketplace. Possibly do a video diary, this way all this damn frustration can be explained away to gamers like myself that seem to be on a downwards spiral in the terms of info about the marketplace being reliable. I think MS do need to do something about hype prior to content getting released on marketplace, the prey demo is a prime example of the producers of the game promising something on a day they should never have promised. Plus the GRAW content was posted as available at TEAMXBOX.COM yet is not even there on the marketplace. This is not MS fault, but I am getting weary as to what is controlled hype, something gamers can do without!
