I was wondering when EA would finally get a demo of this up. Too bad I know nothing about football (yeah, that's right) other than what I learned from the couple games of Tecmo Bowl I played.

I've never really gotten into any sort of sports games (other than the Amped series), but from the looks of it Madden 07 will set the precident.

I cant wait until the game arrives in my post as ive pre-ordered it.
I rented this game from gamefly - overall, I thought it was a dramatic improvement over Madden 06. The super star mode is lame - didn't like it at all. The menus are easy to navigate through. I could see the franchise mode being a bit much for most people - specifically the whole in-depth pre-season activity. On a certain level I think this answers the 'prayers' of your american-football fanatics - yet at the same time, an overkill for someone who just wants to get on the field for some 2-player offline fun. One thing that really grabbed my attention is that when signed into Xbox Live and in Franchise Mode - at the bottom of the screen is a side-scrolling sign with 'real-time' sports news, scores, etc - of the current day. For example, one of the bits of info was the news of Tiger Woods winning today's (Sunday's) tournament - the second place finisher was a guy named Cink. That is when I realized it was actual sports info/highlights/news - because I saw Tiger win on TV against that exact dude. ....way cool - I thought.

I guess all the annoying American EA fanboys will finally quit their moaning about 'wheres the madden demo'... I dislike sports games at the best of times and the constant hype over this title which is just another instance of same-old same-old has had me sick to the back teeth.
Please can we now move on to intresting news about games that the rest of the world cares about.
