i agree with you edhe . xbox live is a worldwide service NOT only an american service we all pay the same price so why dont we get the same level of service. content on live is very biased at the moment us europeans would like some football (soccer) gamerpics/ themes and what do we get nothing!!

Don't act like Americans are the only ones getting exclusive content...

Chromehounds demo, MTV clips, and others never hit U.S. and if you don't have TV content for your area just wait, different contracts affect different regions.

I'm still a little surprised comments like "Wonder how long before everyone gets the same service as the US people do" are made. Especially when you consider Major Nelson addressed it several times and in an FAQ on this site. Actually, it doesn't surprise me. I guess its easier to complain about perceived inequalities than actually doing legwork to find out why.

I agree that companies such as NBC need to not only put up trailers and summary shows (SciFi Channel is owned by NBC) but they need to recognize that putting up downloadable full-legth shows gives the the ability to track actual consumption and offer their advertisers a great way to target market. Broadcast is a dying medium. More and more people are looking for on demand content and the XBOX 360 can provide this. Imagine a future where you can subscribe to your favorite programs, they download as soon as they are available and all you have to do is play them on your 360! Yes I know, either compression needs to get better or the 20GB hard drive needs to get upgraded but I think this future is a real and distinct possibility. Oh and by the way, to the folks who gripe about content not being available in various other countries, there are ways of lobbying governments and voting for officials that help change rules. If you don't like the current system of government regulation get active, get involved and make a change in your own homeland. That goes for everyone in the USA as well, don't forget to vote in November!
