Tony and John from the Gamerscore blog are down in Hollywood attending the ‘Gears of War’ Cemetery Party tonight/tomorrow morning. Keep an eye on their blog and their Flickr site for posts-n-photos.
I really can't wait for Gears, the trailer / commercial released on Live is just drool material.
Finally a game that will convince my mates that the 360 really is a next gen system.
I was supposed to go to this thing but couldn't make it because my car is having problems. I hope nothing big happens so I don't feel bad about missing it.
hey major i just wanted to tell you I saw that attack of the show video on kotaku a couple minutes ago. I understand you work for microsoft, and while those might have been your opinions, it sure seemed like you were just toting the company policy. The choice argument is valid, but not when it cripples a game like graw or lumines live.
I wish we had event like this down here in Australia. Major, we kinda get left out down here. Are there going to be any events like X06 for us aussies? and if there are, would you be making the long trek down?
I'm holding off buying GoW until after release - the only game I've got on pre-order at the moment is Viva Pinata.. It's offering something new to the gameplay on 360.. GoW feels like I've seen it all before..
Cool idea for a party!
Reading Gamerscore blog's post about the release date confusion makes me wonder... How come MS and co allow stores in the states to put games on the shelf before release day, yet if someone does it in the UK, there's uproar, from both retailers and publishers?
