Another Great Episode
Good Job Major!
yahh! scott henson interview finally! hopefully live anywhere details
Waited for the show so that on me way to work later this morning, I'll enjoy it. Time check: 02:05am London.
GR8 Work Major
I was looking for songs for my english project and noticed this was downloading. Amazing speed of itunes for once.
Damn. I was so excited about this one, as I thought that that we'd get backwards compatibility news.
I echo what frenzal said. We really do need some back compat news. Us "passionate" fans are not about to forget about it. We still want Psychonauts to be compatible like you want Battlestar Galactica on Xbox Live Marketplace. (Okay, so do I, but we still need the update.)
Slightly off topic but my Mate just picked up Gears of War from Electronics Boutique in Chatswood, Sydney. They are selling it majorly early considering the Australian release date for Gears is the 23rd.
Lucky bugger.
Major, oh please! You've got to get ReVolt on XBLA. As a former beta tester, I know what a great game this would be for the community. Back then, it was the best game that you could just jump in and have a good time, and it wasn't too competitive. Please just pitch the idea to Greg and see what he thinks. Hopefully something could work out, look forward to hearing if anything will become of this.
i can not wait to listen to this!!!
Revolt on XBLA makes me smile on the inside...
Any news on HDMI cable? Is someone ever going to address it?
Holy *&%$ , that rpg idea he mention's . make it happen!
Yes!! I would like a browser on my 360!!!
my god i love the wii. so far the highlights for me is boxing and zelda. i also love that u can customize tons of Miis and put them in travel mode where they can visit other Wiis that u have a friend code from. and the best part, it stays connected online even when u turn it off. and itll download automatic stuff for u. i had mine on from 3 0'clock this after noon until 10 just now and it didnt even get warm. plus a 12 month warranty is standard with it from nintendo and if u register ur unit u get an extra 3 months free. omg the wii rocks. not near as good looking graphically, but if nintendo and its partners make the games use the controller as well as zelda nintendo is really on the something here. the motion sensing is just incredible.
*reads comments* But is HDMI really necessary? I think it's overkill.
360 web browser? Pretty Puh-lease with Crimson Omens and chainsaw bayonets on top? (You're supposed to laugh at that line, not look at it with a tilted head.)
If Microsoft wants to continue to tout their "support" of 1080p, then an HDMI cable is just an absolute necessity. So few HDTV owners have TVs that support 1080p over component, and VGA is a dying technology.
I'm with all the pleas for backwards compatibility. What better way to celebrate the Xbox's 5th with a BC update?
The Wii lines were crazy here. I never expected so many people to stand in line for this system. Hell, there were more people out waiting than for a PS3. The line at our nearest Best Buy wrapped around the back of the store. I camped outside Circuit City and managed to get one. I'm still messing with the controller configurations right now, so I haven't had the chance to really play any of the games I got (Zelda, Red Steel) yet.
Gears of War beating out Halo 2 in amount of individual users? Who woulda' thought it? :P I hope the rumors aren't true about Gears being ported to the PC (or at least not for another couple years). The 360 is going to need Gears for some time yet to help power sales of the console.
Major, I was already ahead before you mentioned Re-Volt as a XBLA title. I used to play the game all the time on the Dreamcast and I'd love to play it again online, maybe even with updated visuals.
I agree with Scott, Major does do an awesome job at keeping in touch with the community. Bravo, Major.
I can't wait to see what's planned for the future of XBL. Just over the past year of the 360, so much has changed and been added to the service. Great job, MS. As for Sony, they'll NEVER be able to catch up with their so-called "network". Because when you're constantly stealing your competition's ideas, you're always going to be one step behind them. :P
What happened, I was listening to it on iTunes, had to restart, and now I can't find it on iTunes anymore!
The 360 should have an internet browser - great show just a suggestion
So Major...What's Live Anywhere's internal codename?? you gotta tell us now
My guess is Big Brother. ;)
I must point out an irony.
Major, you've mentioned several times how you don't think Live Arcade developers/publishers should provide a release date because of the challenge involved with hitting them. Now you're asking for a good site to track release dates?
Maybe developers took your advice, and just ship the game without notice. :p
I use gamespot for release dates. Sorry for the big link. If that doesnt work go to gamespot.com and click on new releases below ds and gba. http://www.gamespot.com/newthisweek.html?date=2006-11-19&type=new_this_week&platform=1031&mode=all&sort=rdate&dlx_type=all&sortdir=asc
