HD DVD Auto Update

If you have an Xbox 360 HD DVD player, you’ll be prompted for an auto update the next time you watch an HD DVD movie. This update has no new features in it, but contains title specific movie playback improvements and few fixes to some localized text (and I’d imagine a few more lines of code )

If you don’t have access to Xbox Live, you can download the free update from Xbox.com.

im pretty sure u already stated that there wont be a dash update for the 22nd rollout of tv and movies thing in ur last show, but just making sure, will there or wont there be a dash update?

If it takes 4.7 million lines of code to enable HD-DVD playback, how did a bunch of h4x0rs write their own drivers to hook it up to a PC and have it work?

No dash update. Sometime tomorrow (I don't have an exact time) Xbox Live members in the U.S. will automatically see the video marketplace. How? Why Magic of course :)

Title-specific movie playback improvements? Are details to be posted on Xbox.com? I loved the fact that details about the dashboard updates are listed on the site; and I'd like the same treatment for other updates as well.

Hey Mr. Hryb: Do you think you could talk to the "powers" about moving the bookmark button to something other than B (like Y)? Gamers are conditioned to use the B button to exit menus, and I keep creating bookmarks when I'm trying to close a menu. (Okay, so I'm an idiot; but I'm probably not the only one!)
