XNA launch day!

It’s a busy day in XNA land today…and Dave has you covered with all the details. In addition, if you take a peek on Marketplace, you’ll notice there is a free ‘XNA Game Launcher’ available for download. This is the console part that you’ll need to allow you to play your XNA title on your console. Swing over to the official XNA Site for more information on the XNA Game Studio Express and the ‘Creators Club’ (that you can join directly from your dashboard.)

Sweeeeet! Oh how I have been waiting for this day. I've had a tester game sat here waiting to be uploaded to my 360 for a while.

XNA will most probably be the most valued Xbox Live addition since XBLA.

Nice, despite you have to pay to use any aspect of XNA (even to just download the XNA games). At least anyone is able to create anything for the Xbox 360, not just licenced developers.

It would be nice if there would be some "top pick XNA games" available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace every now and then.

Just one question, can we still join the XNA if we don't have a credit card? Will there be a pre-paid card like the MS points and Xbox Live?

Haha, I was just about to E-mail you Major to ask if you were going to make a post about this. I have been working hard learning visual c# and in a month or so I plan on starting my first game :D

Can't wait to join the Creator's Club, but I have to get my broken xbox(my 2nd one) back first :(
