Just one question, can we still join the XNA if we don't have a credit card? Will there be a pre-paid card like the MS points and Xbox Live?

Wow the anual subscription is 99$ which converts to £50 approx. They are charging £65 for the anual and £30 for the 4 month one. Can you tell them they are seriously overcharging us and they really should look at the exchange rate once every so often instead of making up stupid prices.

deathtrap seems to have forgotten his country's 17.5% VAT, as well as increased costs for things like the UK's mandatory year long electronics warranty. It costs MS more to do business in the UK, so they pass those costs on to consumers.

I had my console become RLoD as well after the fall update -- about 3 weeks after though, sent it in for reparis since it was a launch console and presto. Got a refurb back in 5 days. I kept my hard drive, so no issues with saves, XBLA titles or anything.

@ds even though it says it doesn't support vista, it does (atleast for me).  I had the same problem as you when I tried it in Beta 2 (I think i had problems with C# installing too, but that was cleared up after a restart), I don't know how I fixed it, but I simply downloaded the install file again and it worked like magic.  Will be installing the new release when I get home from work to confirm, but I expect no problems.
