I wasn't too impressed by the overall reviews for Crackdown.  But still I enjoyed the demo, so I will get the game.

Great ideas Bear; I love the idea of focusing on the Community. Being able to have RSS feeds for content and be able to define how specific that is would be amazing.

Being able to review content ala Amazon.com would also be a fantastic feature. You could probably also do some interesting things with reviews that are deemed helpful.

Friends downloads, etc; also good stuff that I would love to see. It would be an interesting feature to mark a download as a favourite, and allow friends to browse a list of their friend's favourite downloads.

I'd love to see a calender for releases as well, and the option to leave memos and set the dashboard to autodownload what you want.

For instance, I could download demo X or trailer Y the second it goes Live, and also have the dashboard leave me a memo when a new piece of content for that game comes out, the dashboard would send my gamertag a message.

Anyway, the entire concept of allowing users to filter content, link to it, review it, and so on on their terms is a fantastic one, and I hope to see various features that allow that implemented in future updates.

Great show Major!  Even though my Xbox 360 died back in January, I'm still picking up Crackdown on Tuesday so I'm ready when I get my 360 back.  I guess I'll be reading the manual many times over lol.

yea you should put your podcast on the marketplace. and it should say "listening to major nelson or downloading major's podcast", when someone views your profile. i do remember you said that theres no way to put just audio on the marketplace. next update maybe?

Would it be possible to have one site dedicated to what is posted when on XBL?  Don't need anything complex, just a flat file that states item, type of item, and date.  Would also be nice to view themes and pics as soon as they are posted to see if we want to download them.  yes, there is an xbox.com site that shows pics/themes but new stuff isn't posted until at least a few days after the fact.
