Video: Xbox 360 120 GB and Elite Migration


To follow up on the Migration Q&A posted over at the Gamerscore blog, I grabbed Albert to show us how it actually works and explain some details regarding the transfer process If you are an existing Xbox 360 owner and you want to purchase of of the new 120 GB HDD or an Xbox 360 Elite then this video is for you.

can we all say "ripoff" together?  $480 for the Elite.  For another $120 I can get a PS3 which has a Blu Ray Drive and Wifi.

MS, stop ripping off your customers by having them buy hardware and then later buying pieces to complete it like some jigsaw puzzle.

I am a current 360 owner who will be upgrading to an Elite and I must say that I am very unhappy with the solution that is being offered for existing customers. If I have purchased downloadable content then I should be able to access it whether I am connected to LIVE or not.

Why is there not an option for me to transfer my license?

Why can't I call support and have them change over my license to my new machine, or even be able to do this via the dashboard?

This is an issue and it needs a much better solution then the current one that has been given.
