There's no way to weasel out of this one, since Microsoft's the publisher- can't say "Oh, we have no control over when game companies announce that demos will be available".

For those who ask about the Forza2 Demo: According to some news on German and French websites in the last week, the Demo WON´T be released in April, because the game isn´t "gold" yet. The Demo can now be expected in the second week of May, thats the last information out of an interview with one of the Turn10 developers.

Forza is done its only microsoft and the stupid certification process holding it back. ARGHHHH
Ummm...Turbo...over in Europe, it likely isn't, since they're releasing a few weeks/months behind North America.
And I do sincerely hope there is a part of the fall update that will allow folks to see gamerpics and themes from the Marketplace before purchasing. Flying blind or depending on sites that have to purchase all of these pics/themes isn't too terribly cool or customer friendly.
Regardless, glad to see folks like RvB come out with stuff for us to pick up. Good times... :)
I just don't understand how Microsoft could let something as OBVIOUS as the ability to preview all themes and gamerpics before purchase could still go by unaddressed after about a year and a half of XBL Marketplace's current existence. It's really sad that we have to go to all these third-party sites to fulfill the demand for previews due to Microsoft's negligence.
Who would honestly go into a shoe store and buy a pair of shoes based only on a very brief description?
"Men's shoes, size 12, black and grey. Please purchase the shoes if you would like to view them." This is how idiotic marketplace currently is, and this is even ignoring the fact that we are paying money for IMAGES which any of us could make for free in about 30-60 seconds.
Microsoft is losing potential revenue, potential customers are getting aggravated, and even non-potential customers for each individual item are just getting even more annoyed in general with marketplace. An absolutely retarded business model.
Major, what gives with the Forza 2 demo, you have been strangely silent on this matter.
Can someone at MS tell us what is going on as the Turn 10 site is buzzing about why the demo is not out yet and the piece on XBox.com has been saying something vague about a forthcoming announcement.
This is probably the currently most waited for game on the 360 and it's like being stuck on a train where the driver or conductor won't tell you what is holding things up ... VERY FRUSTRATING.

Yea, we really do need a PREVIEW option for all gamerpics and themes in the MP.I hope we see improvements on this some day, because buying what you cant see is just plain silly...

Question: WHERE IS IT??
It's a very simple question Major, and the fans deserve an answer. Your team had a whole month to put this thing up, we are down to the last day, and no word. Throw us a bone here, anything. Acknowledge us at least. Please? I think we deserve that, after all, we are paying $50 a year for a Peer to Peer gamiming scam.
