I think dirt and forza are in two different leagues of games. Yeh both involve cars but this is going to do the world of good for sliding fans :) and forza will keep racing fans happy. Good month definatly.

Just got it and had a quick run through with the controller.
Visually it is much better looking than Forza 2. Nice menu interface as well. How it stands up in the reality and physics department will be key, hopefully it is decent.
Anyone try it with the MS wheel yet?, curious to know how well it is supported. I'll try mine out later today and see...

I think I would of settled for having RalliSport Challenge 2 backwards compatible, but DiRT will fill in the time until that happens me thinks!
I'm a little disappointed. There is so much glow and blur over the screen and overall the picture is too bright. The game runs at 30fps and does tearing, which is not good for me, especially after playing Forza2. Steering wheel is great.
How does the framerate look? From the videos I've seen online it seems a bit choppy.
Sweet, been looking forward to this one, hopefully it's more interesting that the Forza demo, which I found to be surprisingly dull.
Visualy it's not ever near Forza.. too low polygon count. And Forza isn't off-road.
But the menu system I think should inspire other developers to make "cooler" menus like that. It's extremely cool.
still very slow to download, I'm getting less then 2Mb/s on my 20Mb/s connection. I thought the dashboard update was supposed to speed up the download speed. Also, this is not prim time to download its 6:30 am .. not many people dl at this time..
I hate how far behind the UK are on broadband technology. My connection is about 2Mb, so I'm downloading at that speed on a -good- day. Count yourselves lucky
FINALLY a rally game for the 360!
Looks OK but not vastly better than Rallisport Challenge. Cars don't change attitude when braking or accelerating and just don't feel alive. Interaction with the scenery and other cars is good. Nice car on a stick with scrolling world. Fun but I won't buy until I've done Forza 2 to death.
Framerate in the videos actually look really smooth, hopefully the game plays that smooth.
Naz you dont know what your talking about...Dirt looks just as good if not better than forza.
I have the MS wheel at first I thought it was terrible.Then I found the settings and tweaked about.Best I found for me was adjust the top slider all the way right mid same and the bottome slider you can play with.
Once I got that out of the way and I could actually get around the track I had a huge amount of fun playing the CORR race from the helmet cam great great fun...as for the other 2 races the hill climb and crossover.THere totally unrealistic to drive compaired to Forza.
