Lost Planet Maps to become free this Friday

Details over at the official Lost Planet blog.

Basically, this Friday (the 20th) the Xbox 360 LOST PLANET maps (packs 1 and 2) become free.

Edit: To clarify, the recently released Map Pack #3 for the 360 version of the game is not free, it's just the four maps from Map Pack #1 and #2 that will become free this Friday.

Woah! What's going on?

First the Black and Red packs become free and now Lost Planet. I assume this is due to the PC release?

Could this become the norm for Xbox Live Marketplace? Free is good.

@ DJnal05. I don't expect a refund and neither should you really. I believe the reason the Black Edition for RSV was refunded is because it went up at the wrong price, but our Lost Planet maps were sold at the price they were meant to be and we got the playtime out of them that we wanted for the price we paid. I know I did.

Could the other Lost Planet maps become free too? Hmmmm. In any event, major may want to clarify his statement as not all the maps will be made free as far as I can tell by the community blog post. Just the four original maps made available for purchase.
