Leipzig Game Convention news

Today at the annual Game Convention in Leipzig, it was announced that Ubisoft has joined the Games for Windows program, with their first title 'Settlers: Rise of an Empire.' Plus, Microsoft Game Studio announced 'Train Simulator 2.' These announcements join the hardware news from yesterday. Speaking of hardware, did you know that the Microsoft Hardware division is 25 years old?

It seems Microsoft need to seriously change whoever it is they are using to manufacture this stuff.  This is becoming all too common.  How long before someone IS hurt with these sorts of problems?

That said, in the case of the wheel it sounds like its probably the force feedback motor burning out.  That would likely take a fair few hours of intense racing to happen hence why they said its rare.  There's always someone who goes for those 24 hour gaming sessions that it going to break their wheel like this.
