Preemptively telling everyone who is going to complain and ask for their points back to grow up and look at any other game that gets a price drop. It's normal in any sort of sales situation that an older item go for cheaper. Glad it's finally starting to happen on xbox live arcade games.
I just wish Microsoft would at least set some standard for price drops on electronic content. As is, these cuts appear out of nowhere and seemingly "randomly". At least with retail games, you know that, generally, as time goes by, the price of it will drop proportionally. With Arcade, and other intangible goods, well, in some ways people have a right to complain; maybe if we know with every game, the price will drop in a year? Give us something that we can plan for rather than paying more and then having something cheapened because there weren't enough early-adopters.

You can say that about ANYTHING EVER BOUGHT. no matter what you buy it always drops price. its not like they released it last week and dropped the price this week.
@Strak Attack: AGREED. I paid 1200 pts for Lumines Live. No one forced me to do it. I've clocked well over 100 hours in this game... more than many that I've paid 60 for.

All games drop in price in time. It's been that way for the entire history of video games.
Anyone who REALLY likes Lumines will tell you that the original price was WELL worth it. In fact my ONLY objection is Lumines with the addons comes in pretty close to the price of Lumines II on PSP and its got far less skins. That said, it has 5.1 sound and just plays a hellova lot better on 360 in my opinion, the PSP just isn't close to as much fun.
So basically, it WAS worth the price but I was a little disappointed to see that even with all the addons its still a smaller game than Lumines II.
Fall update? More like Winter.

I tried the demo it seemed cool. Price drop very much needed I might actually get this one now.
