I hope once the UK Video Marketplace is finally launched we can PREVIEW music videos if they are going to insist or charging for them.  I would NEVER buy without having seen them a few times first to know if its worth it.

For example sometimes I like the song but never saw the video.  I would then be annoyed if I bought the video and it sucked which often is the case with music videos.

Next they'll be charging for movie trailers. Yeah, no one's going to buy a music video unless it's got naked ladies :P and I don't see that ever happening.

I think most gamer pics and themes serve the same purpose though. They are mostly advertising for a game, movie, web site, tv show, etc. and I don't pay for advertising. They should pay me to advertise for them!

Hmm, I agree with CLB. However, I do understand why you have to pay for the videos but that still seems a little crazy. Anyway, I'll probably dl The Pretender if the availability ever opens up to the U.S. Definitely gunna check out the Kane and Lynch trailer though.

umm Rokstar? Doesn't matter what the region is. Music videos served the same purpose in all regions in which they became popular... to promote the music. UK, US, India. Doesn't matter. Not sure what you think your point is.
