Almost as bad as turning point!!
Before some one complains about why we didn't get it too, I'm guessing it was delayed because it was an "exclusive" on the OXM Magazine disk and they probably had to have their exclusive for a certain amount of time.
Bout time... heard it sucked anyhow.
Screw OXM. I downloaded it on the PS3 already. If oxm was smart, they'd work with MS to get their mag as a digital download mag on the marketplace and have the exclusive demos only accessible to subscribers.
Tried it...while it's better than previous efforts, it just doesn't stand out enough in the already crowded FPS market.
already played on my ps3 several weeks ago.
Been downloading Turok for a while now. Can't wait to test 'er out!
It's been a great few weeks for demos..The Club was fun (but ultimately too 'arcade' to justify $60),DMC4 was fun and intricately detailed and smooth, and now this..good times!

Well, we weren't really missing anything when the other countries got it first, it was mediocre and short, same with the club (wtf no xbox live?).
Now if it was an XBL multiplayer demo, then maybe it would've been worth getting the mag or waiting for.

I tried Turok a while ago seeing as I'm in england, thought it was awesome. Couldn't finish it, but thats my point. I still want it after I failed.

my brother is excited, but i wont get around to playing it, i have a hard enough time find time to play the great fps out there now.
I played it. It was ok, but like Mad Brown said... "t just doesn't stand out enough in the already crowded FPS market." Also I feel like the frame rate or the character movement feels kludgy. After playing the demo for awhile, I loaded up CoD 4, and the difference in framerate/smooth movement was night/day compare to Turok. Game developers are going to have to step it up a notch, because dishing out lack luster piles just isn't going to cut it anymore.
i had had hopes that were, suffice to say, too high for this game. i am a turok fan from WAY back. this is <i>sort of </i> a Turok game.
Some of you guys are giving Turok a hard time. While it's not utterly brilliant and fantastic, it's better than a lot of other 'generic' FPSs out there. The Dino conflicts are cool and the weapons are decent. My only gripes are the graphics could use some work and the cave was a little bit too maze-like. However I will buy this game..kind of a fun (imperfect, campy) post Christmas diversion.
