Oh ODST, down to second already. pwned

I didn't expect to see ODST fall so quickly. But COD is the better game IMO.

I think ODST wont stay on top for much longer. Short Campaign and the awfully lagged Firefight aren't enough to stop full multiplayer games.

You guys must remember that ODST is just a short campaign + the Firefight mode. The other disc is Halo 3 multiplayer which counts as Halo 3 and not ODST. So Halo 3 will be more played than ODST anyday.

After Modern Warfare 2 is released, I think that it will be the most played game with Halo 3 on second for a while, and then they might switch places now and then. Can't really see any game taking down MW2 or Halo 3 from the top 2 spots after november...

ODST would have done better if firefight had matchmaking

For those who don't know, ODSt comes with Halo 3's multiplayer, meaning ODST owners are playing that disk for multi and the other for firefight.

Meaning that halo 3 gets both Halo 3's and ODST's UUs, while ODST only gets the latter.

But I expect this will be overrun by fanboys soon (seems like it already has though), sooooo...

I love ODST, but the lack of Matchmaking in Firefight is a disappointment.

Yes, I really miss the chance to be matched up with loud, obnoxious tweens and cheaters/glitchers in ODST! What a disappointment!

Eh, for once I would love to see a game in the top 5 that wasn't an overplayed sequel.

What people need to understand about ODST is that it doesn't have matchmaking so of course it is not going to stay at the top of the Xbox Live activity list.  I'm actually surprised that it's in the top 10 at all, to be honest.  The fact that it is at number three means there must be a lot of co-op campaign and Firefight being played.  Also, it must be remembered that ODST comes with a Halo 3 multiplayer disc so a lot of ODST buyers, including myself, are playing that after having enough fun with Firefight.

Hey Major, from time to time could you post an expanded list. Like maybe a top 20? And not only for the 360, but the Xbox. It'd be nice to see where NFL 2k5 is at.

Seeing Fifa10 on the 10th place even though it was out for 4 days of the week makes me giggle.

nice to see H3 on top yet again. blame it on Mythic. I also have to say its a pretty respectable showing from COD4 at #2.

Modern Warfare 2 will undoubtedly best the Halo beast yet again but you can't deny Halo has been king not only for the last two years (yes, it battled a lot with COD last year), but also the H2 years as well.

"Shitty expansion"? Sorry, *** to Microsoft about charging Bungie $60 for it, not Bungie. They (Bungie) really didn't want to charge full price to the fans; THAT is why they included so damn much with the box; beta invite to Halo Reach, all the maps PLUS the 3 new ones, as well as adding what ODST itself already has.  How about doing some research or thinking before you type before you come looking like an ignorant ***?   Also, everyone who complains about Matchmaking forgets that the normal amount of time many multiplayer games can be done on XBL can be maxed (maybe) at 30 minutes or longer. If you're on a good run for Firefight it can last you past 2 hours. Besides, if you were to go on Firefight why would you want to be grouped with random strangers who may or may not want to play with the rules/play like a team anyways if it counts against you?

I love ODST, great game. I only wish it had Matchmaking. Good Times, Good Times.....

ODST doesn't need matchmaking.  Play with friends.

I hope that Bungie sneaks in a few more updates/maps/content for Halo 3 between now and the release of Halo: Reach.  Each Halo in the trilogy reigns as King for its three years.  Modern Warfare 2 will probably take and hold the top spot for a while, then it will start to battle with Halo 3 for a bit, and then Halo 3 will reclaim the throne for the remainder of 2010 until Reach arrives.

I also concur for expanding the top ten list into a larger number.
