Major Why? you know what happened with the prey demo, pdz demo, spring update, or any announce demo. Why did you say this. Well atleast you didn't announce a date. I am thinking wednesday and Rock* just wanted to build some excitement for the demo launch.

Wow, when I read that the Table Tennis demo would be relesed "very, very soon" I took that to mean within the week. Granted, there is still Friday for the demo to hit, but I dunno. I wish people would just give us more accurate estimates than the dreaded "soon." Sometimes soon means within a week, sometimes within a month. It's too general.

Oh well, I'd rather see the Saint's Row demo. :)

i am not suprised cus in this months oxm, the disc includes the table tennis demo, so its inevitable that the demo will hit the marketplace soon!!

i will clear something up very quickly. If you look at the very bottom of your xbox.com emails you will see a sentance. read that sentance then thing about what you have been saying.

Sentance: "*Content may not be available in all markets or on Marketplace at the time of broadcast."

SO all you idiots that only read the bits you want to read learn how to read the whole email.

Bobby, the purpose of a demo is not strictly for pre-release hype. It's main goal is to entice a gamer to buy the game. Regardless of the amount of time a game has already hit the shelves, a new demo would boost the sales of that game by targeting reluctant buyers who wouldn't take a $60 (or in this case $40) bet on a game they might not enjoy. The marketplace's price tag of "free" on game demo's beats the $6-$10 rental fee hands-down.

Somehow, I really don't think sales are slow because people are embarassed to buy it. I realize some gamers are still extremely silly in worrying what other people think of them, but by this point, that's becoming passe. I'd wager sales are slow more because, honestly, $40 is a bit high for a budget title without that much content for offline play. People are used to budget titles on the scale of Table Tennis being in the $20 - $30 range. Plus, other major 360 titles continue to clean house at retail right now.

is there any chance of the saints row demo being released earlier!

also when will some of the Japanese games like Bullet Witch etc have demos... Zegapain was cool.. i cant wait for that in english
