I think it is smart that Rockstar put a time limit on it. I downloaded the demo and was just going to play it all the time instead of buying it. The main character I wanted to use is unlocked in the demo, Mark. Not much to the full game that the demo is missing. Same with Top Spin 2.

there pretty much will be no demo for people who buy their 360s next month and later. maybe microsoft should grow a set and do whats best for the consumer for once. there isnt any logical reason for this. its not like someone who likes the demo is going to not buy the game because they can play the demo.

re: Demo: Rockstar Table Tennis

I hope this isnt a start of a trend.. Are you even thinking this through? Microsoft can set criteria on quality, but it's still up to the publisher to agree to the terms. If the publisher wants a time-limited demo, and Microsoft says they don't like it, the only thing Microsoft can do is decide not put it up on XBL.

Are you saying you'd rather have no demo than a time-limited demo?

re: Demo: Rockstar Table Tennis

Well, that's a first (for me at least), a time-limited demo.. Not gonna happen. It's most likely Rockstar's idea so if you're going to complain, don't take it out on Larry and the Xbox Live team who have to do what the publishers say. It's the publisher's content after all.

re: Demo: Rockstar Table Tennis

From what I understand, it won't erase itself, but will just stop working.

Still pants though. What's the argument for time limiting a demo? Does Rockstar have to pay to have a functional demo on marketplace and on players consoles? What's the big deal? :-)

Rockstar, if you read this, we don't like this.
