@KillerFirefly: I just don't understand the browser haters out there... You know, you don't have to use it. There are plenty of people who would like this upgrade. Don't ruin it for us just b/c you don't want one. And of course the browser should be free. The browsers for the PSP and DS are very popular, and no doubt would be a fantastic addon for the 360. Could you imagine watching YouTube or the AdultSwim Fix on your TV? That would be the ultimate media experience.

I just got it up and going. It works great. I do have a question though. When I place audio on TVersity, does it share it over the internet or just send it to my 360? I'm not looking to do anything illegal here.

I think one of the cool things that people are overlooking is that this software allows your xbox 360 to talk to non-windows xp computers. I've got mine talking with windows 2000.

Everything works fine, except for the gamespot hotspot podcast.

On another note, cmon peoples, do you really need a web browser on your xbox? Isn't your computer good enough?

I vote 360 continue to NOT support web browsing.

@Mike: I agree, the 360 'needs' a web browser, and as you say, an implemtation of the IE7 rendering engine would be fine.

Then we just need a nice 'white' wireless keyboard and we're set. :)

I just installed this and it works like a charm. You do need to punch a few holes in your firewall for it to work. I love to listed to Podcasts while playing games that does not need too much concentration like Oblivian, N3 and Enchant Arm

Most of the issues people are having about the 360 not being a full media experience is from the fact that there is no built-in web browser.

We need a web browser (IE 7 is fine), and flash support.

The Wii and PS3 are getting browsers, why can't the 360? Heck, the Dreamcast had web browsing.

Major, you're a hero. I emailed you a while back about Media Connect on 2k3Srv (where it won't install) and this fills that hole PERFECTLY! Fantastic. I am now streaming music from my digital jukebox server to my '360. Utterly fab. Other than a minor firewall issue, this was a piece of pi... easy as pie. To those asking about video; no, you cannot stream video as mentioned on the TVersity site. Go read up there...

for those still looking to stream divx to your 360 try looking at this site.

basically it's a plugin for mce that will stream the divx video to your 360. this plugin does not require you to change all your media to wmv rather it will decode and stream on the fly.. the only annooying this with it is that you have to apply the plugin to all your divx files in media center

Does anyone know how to add more streams to the radio stations streaming section?

The startup guide says use a playlist which I have created on WMP and I have imported it but when I try and browse through the x-box 360 it only finds Tversity audio feed.

Any ideas?
