well, exept for the choppy framerate, and the poor textures and to little details in the background (for what the 360 is capable of) i like the demo. at first, i had the ps2 demo on my oficiall playstation magazine witch had a even more choppier framerate, and terrible gameplay to boot. so after this, i'd downloaded the xbox 360 demo with fear of this game controlls the same. but luckilly its playable. at least i could finish all 3 events without trouble with every car avaiable in the demo. one thing: dont expect the changes made trough your car really matter. they are only cosmetic. i made my tires as wide as possible, but the car still drifts as it did with the smallest tire. take the rear spoiler. i made it as big it could be, and tipped it over so i should get more downforce on my rear wheels, and in doing so, making the drift contest harder, but it didn't. so forza it aint when it comes to really modding your car. i gues i will not buy the game. at first i wanted it, but exept for a few times, i grew bored of the demo to fast.

As for the car customization making the game worthwhile... My first few games were w/ heavily customized cars. They played so poorly, I assumed it was just the car that I created. I switched back and played the default cars. They were just the same. If that's what floats your boat, I'd recommend DL'ing the demo and just sitting in the customization screen and customizing your heart out. There's certainly no point in actually racing.

The people who play this then post "GREAT DEMO THX MAJOR!!!" - what are you thinking? Do you *really* not see the slowdown or the lack of texture-y goodness? How about those controls?? I've had a 360 since launch. I own NFS:MS, Burnout, PGR3 and a few Live Arcade titles (I'm waiting for Lost Planet and Gears, what can I say :) ). This is no comparison between this and to the other 360 racing titles... it's embarrassing to the platform. Heck, I've got a 3DO with the original NFS that puts this to shame.

The game has a "Midnight Club" feel to it, and the night driving for me at least is different. My friend loved the car customization features, and created a pretty mean looking monster car from it. The game itself is middle of the road. I also liked Most Wanted better; but I can see the appeal here.

FRAMERATE is the key to success! make it a rock steady 60 or 30fps and i'd get this :P it should be easier to achieve on the xbox 360 than a pc. or is this another quick n dirty pc port :(

As a big fan of all the NFS games since NFS 3 on the PS/PC I have to say that this 360 demo is extremely disappointing. I enjoyed NFS: Most Wanted despite it's treacly framerate but it's even worst in this new game which is surely wrong considering this game is nothing more than a spruced up last-gen port? Why on earth is the framerate so horrid on the Drift track when there's just your car and very empty scenery? Shocking... absolutely shocking... and EA are asking £50 for it?!?

another game ruined what a load of crap not next gen at all i think this is the end of the need for speed series oh well we still got test drive yay.

So are there no cops in this game? Because that was the best part of Most Wanted... Also it looks like its entirely at night, so that sucks. Most Wanted was great, this game is not quite so great from what I've played so far.

I DL'd and tried the demo. The sliders are cool but the slowdowns during the races are a real negative for me, especially for a game based on a sense of speed!
