According to SEGA, because PSU is an MMO that runs off of their own dedicated servers, you should be able to play the BETA still during the outage.

I am not sure if this is the case though, since at login it specifically says "XBOX LIVE".

If it works, great. But you won't be able to use the dash to find your friends or anything.

If it doesn't, there is no offline version in the BETA, so I guess we will have to find something else to do.

ive played coh/v and guildwars for pc just spent five hours learning how to play psu had zero (0) problems with servers must have hit a lucky timeframe lvled up to 4 went on to do missions with a group of 4 discovered shops with new weapons spells and tricks to buy and sell other stuff, good create char with quite alot of options on the downside its a bit fiddly new players to the mmorpg will be LOST ! server problems will only make things worse for new players the big question for me is do i support this title for extra £10 a month or go get guildwars factions with £0 per month? hhmmmm. Continued: second day of psu 15hrs in, this game is awesome!!! yes there are bugs of course some peeps saying 6 player chat cuts out 4-5 player chat is fine a couple of missions at the boss stages will crash out but rest of them again are fine, there are really cool weapons ingame with options to upgrade and customise armor upgrades are available also a massive selection of specialist equipment with traps discs available amongst others from what i can understand you can make your own weapons and armor and upgrades yourself from raw materials but i did not dive into that area to much the text chat window is crap! no trade channel, the positon of it on screen is down the left, id have prefered it to be customisable maybe let me change size and position on screen somthing like wow chat or guildwars and coh, it is a pain in the *** to understand alot of the features in the game but hey im only 15hrs in, £10 a month seems steep but after seeing very many idiots and morons running around being annoying and spamming chat you know generaly being arseholes it gets me thinking £10 a month = less idiots = less time finding good teams= more fun, and above all i play video game for one thing FUN!!!

I didn't have time to download this earlier. I went to go download it Sunday morning 11am CT and noticed it was gone. Will it reappear before the beta is over?

I love this game, the only problem is, when i try to play up 6 playes on my party, the voice chat crash down, and i dont know the reason, but when i play whit one player the voiche chat its perfect, SEGA you need work to improve that, i hope the final version dont like this same.

Has anyone noticed this demo has now vanished off Marketplace? I've tried to find it in the demo list but they've taken it off!

Seems to be a drama a month on Xbox Live :)

I have had no connection/server issues. Im not gonna buy it cause of the fee, but its alot of fun. They should give away the game for free and then charge the 10 a month. I would be down for that.

This is rediculous...must be the smallest server on earth. I've never been too into these games, but this one looked interesting...guess I'll never find out if I can't even get in to play. :(

I've noticed it all depends on the time of day you try and hit up the game. At 4pm EST I had no problems. Currently 10 till Midnight, can't get in for the life of me.

if your geting the error about server is down for matenace go to the user message boards on PSU's web site and there is a way to fix it

you have to chance you dns manually to ones on there list.

I had the exact same problem.
