What's the deal with the demo being uk/eu only? As Xbox owners, we all deserve an equal share of content, especially when they're game demos. I really think MS should move away from this region exculsive nonsense. Give everyone access to the same content. It saves time, and makes everyone feel happy about having forked out so much money for the X360. Think about it - at a time when the PS3 is so close to launch date, the last thing MS wants is to have existing X360 users complain about the online experience and to find out the whole "Live Marketplace" experience isn't upto mark. Or are you going to wait for the PS3 to do some PR damage before you give in to gamer's demands? Btw, I do own a X360, in case anyone's going to accuse me of being a basher. Right now, I'm disappointed.... that's all.

i cant download it, i have been trying for 2 days! all it says is 'the download could not be completed. please try again later.' and i live in the UK and i have lots of space free.

Obviously I can't be caught. So I'm going to say this to you people in the U.S. You can download Rainbow Six Vegas by following my instructions. This requires search on UK adresses and postal codes. Create a new Silver Membership account. Place your location under U.K. (United Kingdom) (this will probably be found in the HOTMAIL section) Type your Address down. (FAKE ADDRESS UK VALID) then continue. Do not post anything American on your new account. This will allow you to download Rainbow Six vegas and maybe some other UK demo's This same thing goes for other countries. some other countries have different demos like JAPAN and many others.

......Just create an additonal Xbox Live account and set your location to UNITED KINGDOM for THAT account and then DOWNLOAD the demo. End of story

Why is everybody complaining so much? At least you guys have your 360s, mines being repaired :( And from the sounds of most of these comments, half of you only play demos on your 360? what happened to buying games, or playing new games for more than a week?

Well, I guess I was not reading the cover of the Official Xbox Magazine incorrectly. It is the "ONLY" place to find a demo of Rainbox Six Vegas. Oh well, I'll pick up the magazine in a few weeks. Low on cash.

I gotta agree with Defrostmode, I like OXM's magazine and podcast. Also, I live in the states so I find it a little bit ironic that people are bitching and blaming OXM. If the demo wasn't made available to anyone in the world except for OXM in the US, hardly anyone would be complaining. The fact that someone else in another country has the demo lets people know there is one, and they are all pissed because they don't want to buy a magazine.

Not only are some people pissed at OXM, they are also pissed at Microsoft for "allowing this to happen".

If Ubi-Soft struck a deal for a US exclusive demo it was with Future publications. Microsoft does not make a magazine. They would have loved to get this demo onto marketplace, but Future wanted to make sure the easiest way to play the demo here in the US was to buy a copy of their struggling magazine.

Now maybe this isn't the brightest business decision, but to people like me here in the US that enjoy reading OXM it certainly doesn't hurt our feelings.

Anyway, to my friends overseas I hope you enjoy the demo. It would be next to impossible to secure an American 360 and OXM disc from this month if it was exlusive to OXM. I also apologize on behalf of my fellow Americans for their ignorance. We have an education problem in this country.

this demo downloaded the fastest of any demos i have downloaded. and i'm in the states. anyways it is a pretty sweet demo. dark, lots of muzzle flashes, the switching between night vision, thermal and normal needs to be a little quicker though, but it is just a demo
