I didn't say anything came out last week. I said the 360 had particularly good sales last week. They were up around 600%. Most likely due to cheap bundles w/Blue Dragon and Lost Planet, but at least they are getting the systems out there.

Emergence Day was disappointing. It did seem like there was going to be something more. After finding the multiplayer options so completely lacking, I was hoping they were going to surprise us w/a free addition to the game that gave us Halo-style matchmaking and some varied gametypes(such as CTF).

Unfortunately, it's just the "virtual" list of people in this comment thread. There's no way to get time-limited content once it's removed from the Marketplace.

You *might* be able to get someone to copy it onto a memory card for you, unless it's marked as "read only".

Why do you guys continually feel the need to kick your customers in the balls? Jesus, 2 weeks after bricking a ton of consoles, you put out limited content that those people can't get. Way to kick your customers when they're down. Especially now, with other systems about to launch. You should be soaring, but you really seem to want to stumble....

I've been waiting a week for a shipping box that shipped UPS "3 DAY SELECT". When I called last night to inquire about the box, the support rep at MS said that UPS provides Microsoft "different" service than I would get if I were paying for "3 DAY SELECT" service myself.

(At least, I *think* that's what he said, since English apparently wasn't his native language...)

Either way, add me to the list of people who didn't get the limited-time content and can't play GoW because my (second) 360's dead too.

I can't believe how many 360's have died. Out of 5 people I know who bought them at lunch, 4 of us had machines fail. I bought a new system and put purchased the 2 year service place. It only took me 6 different calls over 6 different days. I swear microsoft didn't want me to purchase the plan. Horrible customer service. Microsoft is lucky that I'm not interested in the ps3.

My 360 died during the weekend... I had to ship it back after 30 minutes of splinter cell.

At least, I was able to play Gears of War at a public station during the Arcadia Festival (Montreal) This game is absolutely IN-CRE-DI-BLE-!!!!

I love free gamerpics and themese tho, to bad i didnt get to snag this one :(

maybe get them to repost it as a second chance offer for free still

My XB360 is at the repair shop...

I was told today that it should be returned to me by Thursday...

Am I just out of luck for this content now? Has Microsoft not only gave me a faulty system that scratched up two of my $60 games to the point they may not play again, but they also screw me out of a chance to get exclusive, limited time content for the biggest game of the year?!?

This is just my luck...My XB360 breaks down right before the game launches, now I have to miss out on this. Plus, MS doesn't want to replace the two games that my faulty system tore up....

I don't know how much more abuse I can take...

Major...any chance of me getting this content? I can supply whatever needed to prove that my system was being repaired during this time...

Is the content even worth my fussing?

P.S. I wrote this on here yesterday, but it apparently didn't post for some reason...

Isn't this kind of time-limited gimmick stuff basically a way to label yourself as "I paid full price for GoW on launch day so I could have a stupid gamerpic and theme. I am Microsoft's and Epic's marketing ***." Even if I bought the game on launch day, I probably wouldn't want to use that gamerpic in case anyone might think I was a brainless drone for the marketers.
