1. Gunstar Heroes (Wii has this).

5. Toe Jam & Earl (Wii)

Old games are nice, but c'mon! I'd love to see arcade's Revenge of Shinobi for instance, or maybe DOuble Dragon, Final FIght, Two Crude Dudes... side scrolling beat'em'ups would kick @ss online at XBLA. Don't get me wrong, new IPs are important and all, but it's called LIVE ARCADE for a reason - arcade games.

How about a Super Off Road port? Or better yet, the spectacular Indy Heat?

re: Wednesday's Arcade Release

oh come on...you use a €400 Console with 3 cores and all that bling bling on a €2000 HDTV for crappy old arcade games that every better scriptkid can code on two long weekends?

XBLA should have more titles like Outpost Kaloki or blabalaClyde.

re: Wednesday's Arcade Release

any news on this i just want to know if its still coming today or not so i dont get my hopes up

re: Wednesday's Arcade Release

XBLA wensdays are getting pretty boring :( old arcade games are nice but i hope there will be some more original titles.
i want to see more classic games. i still have fond memories of playing on the Atari 2600 Jr and the Colecovision Adam (i never had any Nintendo system) when games were not so complicated and you could just pick up and play.

As far as i am concerned, the three mega classics are:

Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong

i would love to see all of these come out of XBLA. Is there any chance the MSFT could get a deal with Nintendo to port the arcade version of Donkey Kong (i'm sure they wouldn't mind some Rare games for the virtual console)? Now the paragraph gets random. i consider the Genesis stuff semi-classic (Sonic, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Phantasy Star, Eternal Champions - Sega CD, etc). The classics are just easier to release (and most are better than i remember - that is if there were a better controller for arcade). i really like these games primarily bieng in 2D. It is called XBLA, shouldn't it have mostly arcade ports? The new stuff doesn't really excite me. Maybe i'll check out Roboblitz, Castle Crashers (next year- though only because it is a new version of a retro style) and Bugs of War when it comes out.

i wish Canessa and his team would set a schedule at least a month (2+ months would be awesome) in advance and make it public and reduce certification time by 10% (if economically feasible). i don't really have a problem with games missing release schedules (after a while it could be like a King County Metro schedule, where you pretty much expect busses to be late). i don't care if i don't want a game, because i know someone else does (and isn't it all about choice?). Classic or new (or new imitating classic) just release at least one game every week - please.

re: Wednesday's Arcade Release

Most of us don't mind a necessary delay, especially when we are told about it ahead of time.
