Ok, PLEASE don't post irrelevant comments like "50% complete now" or "now I see it" after somebody else already said it! It just muddies the waters for people who want to find out if the game is any good.

Sorry I just hate that whole "I posted first!" crowd...

</RANT>

Ok Small Arms is a GREAT game! Especially with 4 players this game is a total blast! Completely reminds me of Smash Brothers for the GameCube (without the well-known characters) with Ratchet & Clank style weapons which is a very good thing.

I didn't try XBox Live play yet, but as far as a fun game 4 people can play on the same system this is about as good as it gets for a party game, and only $10 it's a great deal.

So can anyone confirm that two players locally can play vs to other players remotely through a live game?

<snip>

yes two players can play on the same console and against two others on live!!!!

this is a great game and this is the FIRST game I've bought off of Arcade other than Uno.

we need more ORIGINAL, FUN , MULTIPLAYER games that take advantage of XBLA.

Major, MORE games like this PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, maybe Roboblitz will be good...

re: Arcade: Small Arms

I played the demo, hit "purchase game" and it froze and stuck on 0%, now it won't let me get the full game for some reason.

perhaps XBL is just overloaded here, I'm in Australia. but still it's the middle of the day and I have all PC applications turned off and given full priority to the xbox.

re: Arcade: Small Arms

Best indie game since Geo Wars. There I said it.

Games like this make me realize how amazing XBLA is. Seriously I can't imagine not having a service like this in the future. The ability to walk downstairs in the morning, flip on the box and instantly get a game this fun, this well made and cheap, it's addictive. Kudos to MS for giving the opportunity to indie developers to crank out great stuff instead of 60 dollar filler (EA I'm looking in your direction)

too much gun play and the controls are a little awkward

re: Arcade: Small Arms

solid game, especially for an indie title, but....

we could have used some larger maps. the tight space is great, but for some of the weapons, you need more than 5 feet between you and the guy you're fighting to make an attack.

other than that, it's an awesome game. not a smash bros. crusher, but a step in the right direction. Gatronaut did an excellent job and deserve a big pat on the back. I will be enjoying this with friends for quite some time.

I would've had money for this, but then the Wii had to go and launch this week. And next week, I'm putting my money on a 360 extended warranty and Wii component cables, so I'll probably have to hold off on this and any other game for some time while I replenish my funds. D:
