Well, we just had Knuckles Dawson on our podcast, who was flown to FASA to demo out Shadowrun, and he gave his very detailed impressions to us of how the game plays, among other things.

If you are interested in Shadowrun, this is definitely a must-listen.

Good show, I would love to hear Laura Foy on the show. Didn't know Tina Wood had done so much. I do have a question though. What's up with getting Icons on the video marketplace. I only care about the good ones (the ones made before G4 switched to doing rappers and actors). That would be great.

Ha! I had no idea you could shut the machine down like that! I've always had to go into personal settings and shut it down that way. You learn a new thing every day. Good show though, looking forward to Shadowrun. Ummm, no news on a BC update though, huh?

Hello Major,

I was just wondering if there was an specific reason why your show is being recorder at a sample rate of 22 kHz because every time I wanna listen to your podcast on my MP3 player I have to resample it to 44.1 kHz. I've notice the vast majority of podcasts are sampled at 44.1 kHz and found out just 3 shows that sample it at below that (which I have to resample too.

tina wood should now be your co-host. she brings a great perspective to gaming and she just speaks so well. she has grea opinions and ideas. you've been looking for one....well there she is. she even said she wanted to be on more often. she doesn't have to do the interviews (all the time) but it would be nice to just hear you chatting with someone else. and that someone should be her. well keep up the great work major. thanks for your hard work.

hey major, just got to the part in the show when you asked about the wii and ps3. wii is awesome, my ps3 is still in the box, i'm probably going to sell the ps3. also about the GPS, a friend of mine just got a Magellan in car GPS. he is pretty pleased with it and i'll make sure to get you the model # on it. he said he grabbed it from tigerdirect.com. as i said though, i'll get you more info on it pretty soon.

just thought i'd let you know i can tell the difference in the quality of the podcast. your voice sounds like it has higher compression. don't know if that is from processing your are doing after the recording or from the new equipment but it is definitely noticeable and sounds good :)

Nice Podcast, yet again.

Good interview on AGI, too...however, I want to cry when I hear one answer to a question be, we listen to the community and think first and foremost about the gamer and how a feature can benefit a gamer.

How do TV/Movie downloads benefit your platform/the gamer? I think the scenerio put forth about using a browser when a significant other (anyone else) is using your PC and you just wanna look something up, having a browser on the 360 would be a good thing. And it seems the community is asking for it. Heck, I've surfed with my PSP when my wife was on the PC, just to look something up.

Where is WebTV? One, my aunt STILL USES it...2) it was marketed at different people for a different use, and during a time with pretty much only 480i TVs. A browser on an HDTV makes a LOT OF SENSE and since MS/360 is all about HD, a browser fits that scenario. 3) WebTV, related to TV size, webpages are mostly optimized for 1280x1024 monitors, what a pain to scroll left/right/up/down on a 640x480, or have the text down-rezzed...yuck. A 1280x720 monitor, the 360's sweet spot is perfect for webpages...

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'm fairly certain a browser will come out within a year and it would be nice to have a podcast/rss aggregator in the marketplace...it's all software right?

Tina Wood was a great interview, it would be interesting for her to do a blog similar to Major Nelson. However, I looked at tinasumsum.. she has a zero gamerscore and only played GOW? ;-) That would mean that she didn't even finish the training level of GOW. I'm guessing that's not the one she really uses.

Definitely get e and Trixie on... just... well... I think Trixie's great and all... but someone should get her a Darth Vader voice changer for the holidays... that way she won't cause permanent damage to the listeners ears...
