If you read at Bungie (especially the update) Frankie says that the graphics are way outdated already (the doc was started a while ago).

One other thing I noticed is that some of you rate the game's 'maturity' level based on how much blood it has...if you ask me...that's very pathetic to say the least. Very pathetic indeed.

I had hopes for the game til I saw this video, it just looks like more halo2... This game DOES look very childish btw.

Hell!

I liked this video. Of course, graphics still sux when you compare then with Gears of War, but the animations, wow!!! That Brute pulling off a mariner arms was awsome!

And, it's just like that guy from Bungie said.. i'll see one of that Brute Chiefs and think: "MAN! I GOT TO KILL ONE OF THESE!!!!"

I don't know what you graphic snobs are talking about. That looked fantastic for pre-beta, alpha, Omega phi gamma or whatever. So much for enlightened masses huh?

Hey, don't like, don't buy it and don't complain when no one is playing games you own and everyone is talking about H3 next year.

Meh, the posts are valid - the graphics were placeholders, they looked terrible and the multiplayer shots a wee while back looked poor in places, not the best way to be showing off the 'next best thing(tm)'.

Although i'm sure things will improve, i just want to know if the game mechanics will change any, so that it's less floaty and more .. paced so i could be interested in it.

check out bungies updated post... they said the footage was from months ago. thats y it doesnt look that good...

but they should wait till after launch day to show how they made it. i wanna be suprised when h3 comes out instead of knowing half the crap like halo 2.
