Okay, so internet sarcasm doesn't work so I'll give it to ya straight. After some truly great indy titles you go and top it off with a 'classic'. Its the last Wednesday of the year and this is how you guys wanna finish it?!
I guess we are going to have to suffer through it because I'm sure when he thought this was a brilliant idea he green lit a buch of these crappy games. I'd imagine since these crappy games sell to about 50 people and the rest of us ignore it, dev's will stop pushing this crap on us.

For Gods sake if you are going to do a craptacular port of a 1980's game at least have the lazy dev design it for the 360. Letterbox is unacceptable.

I love XBLA and have supported it probably more than just about anyone here, but seriously, it's time to step up, MS. Is it fair to be compared to the Virtual Console, which is essentially just emus and roms? Maybe not, but you will be compared, and despite more options, one game on XBLA canNOT stand up to 5-plus Nintendo and Genesis and TG16 classics.

Ditch the ridiculous 50meg limit (why punish ALL of us for Core users?), and stop hoarding games--release more than one a week. Piecemeal ain't cuttin' it. You guys have GOT to realize this. MS is smart like that. I'm just confused why nothing's been done yet.

re: Arcade: New Rally-X

Well I really enjoy this Rally X and I'm glad I brought it, the only 2 games on the marketplace that I have actually enjoyed playing are Galaga and New Rally X. I've brought a few others but these two are the only decent ones for me.

I want Bubble Bobble, would be so cool! Hopefully 2007 will be a better year for the arcade, but I do think the 50Mb limit is gonna end up being their biggest downfall. I want proper retro games like the Wii VC, proper games like Sonic, proper 2D platformers and old school RPG like Zelda, Final Fantasy etc etc

But with this 50Mb limit I can't see that ever happening. I don't see the point in the 50Mb limit, who really is gonna be online downloading content with only a memory card?

At work on a team of 50 we have 6 people so far with 360's and we all have harddrives.

re: Arcade: New Rally-X

kill the 50mb MS!

I love being able to play arcade games from years past. I just wish that more games that have been made in the last 15 years or so were released. Many of the early 80's arcade games being released do not age/hold up very well 25 years later and are not worth 400 ms points by themselves(maybe they would work better in dowload bundles).

I would like to see more early to mid 90's arcade/console games to be released. When IGN did a feature on most wanted games to be released on XBLA, there were many games from the early 90's. Some of my favorites were on the list.(I guarantee pretty much all of the following games would sell very well.)

such as:

TMNT Arcade Game

TMNT III: The Manhattan Project

TMNT IV: Turtles In Time

TMNT Hyperstone Heist

The Simpsons Arcade Game

X-men The Arcade Game

Chrono Trigger (I can dream)

Killer Instinct 1 & 2 (I can dream)

Goldeneye (I can dream)

Perfect Dark (I can dream)

Marathon 1, 2 & 3

any Final Fantasy games (I can dream)

Vagrant Story (I can dream)

more Castlevania games

any many others
