Hi, regarding Germany:

As said before, GoW can legally be bought here, it's only forbidden to advertise it.

Fact is, GoW isn't imported to Germany ... on the package you can read "Made in Germany" ;-)

So why am I, who legally bought the game, forced to give up playing this game online, because everybody worldwide now plays the new maps, which aren't availlable here.

That's a shame, it's nearly impossible now to play GoW online, if you are german :-( ... except you use a fake account to download the maps.

Theoretically I could contact a lawyer now and I bet I would win. But that's not worth the hassle ... for now.

So please MS ... it's time for an age verification system on XBLive ... you'll also need it for the upcoming videos on demand. So please hurry up and stop discriminating german customers!

Mark has to explain like 1000 times to you thick-headed people how the NEXT patch will FIX the 1280x1024 problem permanently. And like I said in my post above, they cant just "overclock" the 360 magically to give you any resolution you whine and beg for without losing performance.

1280x1024 will be letterboxed 1280x720 and that will be the end of the story.

Nevellin: obviously you have set your eyes/cables wrong because they CHANGED NOTHING for component cables. Or else you're just trolling.

did they "fix" the problem with VGA cables, because it looks worse now, im using a LCD monitor and GOW looked crisp and sharp, now it looks pixelated and i hate the 4:3 aspect ration, i prefered the letterboxing. epoc should provide an option, because i prefered gow prepatch

Probably because Microsoft is in the business of making money, not throwing it in a big hole in the back yard, dousing it with gasoline and then throwing a match on it.

Might as well release MS Bob II as actively publish a game in a market when they know it will be banned.

Here's an idea. Start lobbying for your government to be a bit less harsh on the games industry. Given what the boys at Crytec had to say about the treatment they recieved in Bavaria (having a programmer dragged naked out of his home and forced to lay down on the lawn with a gun to his head while his family watches is a bit harsh, in my estimation) I'm surprised they bothered with Frankfurt. That's about the time I'd be moving my company someplace a little bit more receptive to new ideas. London. San Fransisco. Moscow. Pyongyang. The City of Dis, which lies within the Stygian Marsh, wherein are contained the lowest circles of Hell. Y'know, places that are better than Germany.

Be assured that German Gamers never get tired of blaming their government for its policy on games. :P

Thing is, even with all the restrictions and games beeing banned, it still is legal for me as an adult to play games like Gears of War. It`s kind of a hassle to get em, but it is legal. Therefore I kinda miss an option for adult gamers to get DLC for those restricted games. They are not allowed to advertise them, but providing extra stuff for those games is legal as long as they don`t advertise it in areas where people under 18 could see it.

That is just going to create more trouble than is really worth it, and thus I am sure there is legal ramifications which they must abide by, while providing service to that country.
