Could definitely use a reduction in cost on the advance pack down to a decent price, maybe bring it down in line with these new ones (200 points maybe).

As for the size of this skin, well.. there's 720p video playing in the background, plus the music. That's about what, 3-4 mins of high def video and 5.1 audio. Do the math.

i still don't applaud q entertainment for doing this. too little too late. i hope they learned their lesson.

oh and it's 2007 almost february and still no madonna prancing around videos. lumines = yawn.

Guys, regarding Worms. Give MS a break on this one. Yes, it's a little late and yes it's took longer in the test cycle than either us or MS had hoped. It will be with you soon, but it has to fit into the schedule, it's not like its been sat there all OK ready to release. I know it's frustrating, we're all keen to get the game to you and the wait will soon be over.

so we now have the version that everyone was actually reviewing/previewing when the 360 version first hit the marketplace (-3/4 the game though)

msoft should have caused themself less bother and just have released the whole game that day for 2k points instead of bleeding the packs to us slowly admist all the moans:P

i so love how their excuse for splitting lumines in the first place was file size limits, then they go and put up a single free skin thats nearly 3x the 'limit'

yeh consumer spending power is if you dont want it, dont buy it.

i mean come on, i dont walk into the video store and if they dont have my dvd i accuse them of bein assholes and the like.

i got my 360 for 360 games, arcade games are a fun little bonus. i want cattan, i want gyruss, super contra, castlevania.

but i'll get em when they come out, no big whoop, theres tons of 360 games to play in the meantime.

i totall yagree that the bashing needs to end, its the exact same story everytime, 'wheres worms?!?!?' till worms comes out, then its 'wheres cattan?!?!??!' etc. never ending.

it'd be neat if people on this site discuss the things that are posted about.

Well look at it this way. If you download all the games, you saved $7.50 this week - $10 if you didn't get the packs.

Now you can buy that horse armor you've been saving up for! And the packs are fun BTW.

The two expansions for 100 pts each are a great move. They make the whole game feel like a decent value now. Despite the comparison to the PSP game that was made in the podcast interview, it felt overpriced before.

Sure, I would have liked a new game yesterday as well, but this was a cool buy.

Have you not seen the list of games that are coming out for the XBLA? And there's quite a few of them that were supposed to come out last year. There's PLENTY of games planned.

I know, I'm still behind the whole addon things shouldnt count as the upgrade period. But it does kinda prove detractors of MS wrong that always say they're greedy...if they were so greedy they wouldnt put out cheap content for a weeks release when they can put out more expensive stuff.

I'm very happy with the deals on the two Lumines packs. The original game felt al bit too expensive for what it was offering feature-wise, but with the two packs added to it I think it turned into a pretty good deal.

Also: I like the free skin but the song (which I liked at first) becomes a bit irritating after hearing it many, many times during the course of play. I can't get it out of my head! :)

Heavenly Star is a pretty cool song.

The vs. CPU pack is pretty nice too, considering you get an additional piece of the game and new skins for each level in the mode.

Still, these add-ons can't hold up to getting a new arcade game this week. I'd wish we'd get an update from either Greg or one of the Live Arcade team regarding the status of some of these games we've been looking forward to, and why things are taking so damn long for games that were originally scheduled to release last year.
