The spin on that Sony software emulated PS2 (just like in x360) is "we always intended to go software" and "stfu you xbots".

So, we still lose the PR war no matter what MS does. Microsoft failed its xbox1 BC and Sony has already triumphed in the same field just by proclaiming that their BC is very limited and "you shouldnt care anyway".
