This game is cool and I just bought a second mat to play with my fiancee and friends but no way am I paying for stuff already on the disc. This goes for any game.

Well, I'm still not fond of the fact if I want this, I need to buy a new dance pad, since I just bought Ultramix 4 a few months ago for my original Xbox (a time before I got the 360).

If Microsoft and/or Konami made a connector to hook up the old dance pad to the USB power on the 360, I'd be happy. Same with the orginal Xbox's microphone, so we could eventually do Karaoke Revolution.

Finally, do YOU own a PS3? I can list why I don't without fanboy hyperbole unlike yourself who fails their OPINION around like a falling toddler grabbing for the highchair. You hate the PS3? Join the club, I think it is not all that great either. But 108 kb unlocks really make me think about that stance at times. Because everything on the PSN so far is a legit, new piece of content. Unlike this DDR junk, EA's 2006 title lineup, and Viva Pinata's "costume packs".

I mean, this IS DDR RIGHT? If the game didn't come with the UNIQUE CONTROLLER FOR THE GAME, I would be SUPER PISSED if the game $80 bucks.

Even if it did, MS's proprietary setup won't let you use USB mats OTHER THAN THIS ONE. So where is the flexibility in value there?

Still doesn't make up for the fact that the controller itself hasn't changed ONE BIT for several years, and yet, the price for "next-gen" is jacked up by what, $10 at least?

I don't remember jacking the price up on the PS2 versions.

Guitar Hero's guitar is not anything radically different, yet because of "next-gen" that package is NOW NINETY DOLLARS. And that will have DLC too. Worse than this I promise you.

No, this "rising costs" crap is just that - crap. ESPECIALLY for a game like this and GH2 where the controller design hasn't advanced that much, if AT ALL. But yet GH's price has gone up %50 in less than THREE versions of the game. F**K you MTV - you think maybe we can NOT have your choices in GH360 because GH2 REEKED of MTV favortism. Half the bands flat out sucked. And last time I checked, they really didn't do that much with the graphics either. HD with minimal effort stands out like a leper in clean room thanks to fact we have games like GOW that show us what HD REALLY LOOKS LIKE.

If you go on the XBOX forums for this game, you will also read how this dance mat IS CHEAP. One user had to tape wood to his mat so it would stay firm and not slip! And Komani wants $80?!?!?!

You are defending 108kb unlockers, claiming it to be unfinished code. You need to stay quiet because that is just pure nonsense.

And again, WHY IS CRACKDOWN $60? That was a MS first party title, so how come it was not $50?

We actually don't know that for sure.

That could mean that there WONT be extra songs and that it only has the ones it comes with (65). Also, you did pay a ridiculous for the console that has pretty much lost the "console wars", since when 360 came out it was unavailable for months after its release, the Wii is still rare now, and I saw 4 PS3's sitting in Best Buy the other day while picking up Crackdown.

Why pay more for less?

So while you're not paying $12.50 for some songs, you paid an extra $200 retail for the console itself. Nice call.
