a 512MB MU is ridiculous. It should have been at least 1GB or 2GB. Im not sure what MS is thinking(other than $$)

Well, it's a start. Still overpriced when on the PS3 you can buy a 512MB SD Card for $15. My 2GB memory duo stick cost $50. Piss on that.

$50 for 512MB is a rip-off IMHO.

While I'm glad to see a larger base size, the pricing is *way* out of touch with reality.

This also does *nothing* to address the real space issue affecting the 360: The tiny HDD.

Don't want to release a bigger HDD? Fine, allow us to attach an external USB drive and store videos there. The 360 *already* can recognize the external drive (you can play music or show pictures) - relax the (silly, IMHO) restrictions!

Bah! Memory units are a thing of the past and thats too much $$ just for 512mb. Why not spend another 50$ and get a 20 GB HD? Or a game? Im sure I can stuff my HD into my pocket if I want to bring my arcade games to a friends house.

I still think that most of us community members can agree that a larger MU is GRRRREAT! But, all of us community members can still agree that the MU is still a little pricy for only 512MB 'cause I can go out and buy a 512MB thumb drive for like US$10 on sale at Staples. But I think it is great that the size of the XBLA games was increased but I have not found out exactly the size that they will be. But great job Larry thanks for the info! Keep up the great show dude. And have fun with your Wii if you don't mind. Larry could you PM me the games you have for your Wii 'cause I am thinking about getting one! Thanks Major!

I will be definitely getting one of these. But it is so late that with the recent price drops in 2 and 4gb USB keys and SD cards ... this seems kind of silly and small. One thing the PS3 and Wii do right is standard memory card slots. And one thing the PS3 REALLY gets right is a user removable/upgradeable hard drive. The first thing I did after getting PS3 was slap in a 120gb HD. Course I don't play anything because the online is stupid and there are no games and I am too busy with my 360 and Wii ... but that is a different story!
