Can anyone answer me this. Do I need a hard copy of Oblivion to run this game via download. Or will the download itself allow me full access to everything in the game?

@HappySpaceInvdr: Oblivion is not yet available in Europe - will be in late April - once it comes I'm going to compare - also R6:Las Vegas is coming in late April ... as I said - let's the game begin -> and gamers will always win :)

The DRM on this makes me not want to touch it, this is a pretty poor move Nelson. In the future please try to avoid this because people want to play the game, not only play the game when the internet it working.

Hell I've had issues where xbox live wouldn't stay connected for more then 10 minutes, does that mean I only get 10 minutes of shivering Isles? apparently so.

I love the 360 but this was a dumb move.

I hope they release the shader patcher as a free download. It's still bad to ask people to pay for something that includes a patch.

Anyway, Any on hands impression? How is the expension compared to the reste of the game. Game hours? faster loadtime? Better visual, gameplay, etc ?

@acidoom: if you're really a PS3 owner, then you would know that Oblivion has been released for the PS3 and gets a good review pretty much everywhere. the graphics are slightly sharper than the Xbox 360 version, but the main advantage is the far shorter load times.

LOL! That's right... additional Oblivion content does not work when Xbox Live is down.

When you load up a game that relies on the downloaded, you get a warning message, but it lets you play... but do that at your peril. You can end up screwing up your game big time.

I'm surprised the Major did not realise this. Actually, come to think of it, I'm not that surprised.

Anyway, nice timing Microsoft!
