Actually, Major, it's about $0.62 an episode on iTunes. You get a Multi-Pass for $10 and it gives you 16 episodes. So you can get 16 episodes automatically for $10 on iTunes, or each individual episode for 16 days for $32. Hmmm... which one seems more consumer-friendly? =D

Shows that air more than once a week demand a subscription rate, simple as that. Giving people the "choice" to only buy an ep at a time is pretty boneheaded.

My point is that so far all the video stuff on MS has been utterly pointless and overpriced. Yay for cartoons in HD for about $4-5 a pop when they'd render just as fine through rf/av/'low' def.

The blurb is goofy for these, instead of having to pay anything, yeah I'll just DVR any # of recasts if I really care. Those kinds of shows are so time sensitive I don't see what the point is here at all.

MS is the only system to make you pay to do your own advertising (game pics, themes) - I pay for a $60 game and I still need to dip my tow in there? And you'll try to charge me as you trickle more maps in?

I just thinking having to pay for avatar options is cheesy in general. Some make sense (eg Buffalo Sabres) if they'd get the logo up to date.

If it wasn't for the old spice challenge I wouldn't even have that old logo lol, thankfully battlestar galatica had a good free one I used for a stretch

Wow. People are really starting to backlash against the prices of stuff on the marketplace.

This particular announcement doesn't bother me, as VMP isn't available here yet.

But, in the long run; content producers are going to keep offering content at this, and gradually higher prices until the consumers as a whole just stop buying it. Unforunately for those wanting lower prices, there are just too many people buying it at the minute.

As has been mentioned, if you forget to set the DVR, you can always record the 7am or 2pm airings. I have mine set to record them at 2pm anyway.

In otherwords: You want stuff over there, but as soon as it costs money you'd join the rest of americans in their chants of "Let me know when it's free"

Face it, even if you had VMP you'd be just like us an end up with a good portion of the population that's upset that it costs money.

It's not an ignoring concept they have going on. Don't you think they WANT your money? It's the regional restrictions placed by the media outlets/movie industry prevents them from being able to distribute globally. Otherwise I'm certain they'd have your money by now.

I'm tired of the xbox team staying up late to make VMP better for the USA while they have had ample time to bring something to Canada. This content is too expensive to even consider, but there is lots of other content they could easily make available in Canada or bring over from the US (after having had ample time to deal with licence owners since VMP's launch).

Despite remarks to the contrary I'm not even sure they plan to bring VMP to other countries this console cycle.

Amen brother! You summed it up for us Canadians as well. I'm a little confused why we pay the same amount for less service outside of the US. I understand that there is red tape but at least show that someone is trying for god sakes. Oh well, it's all over priced anyways. I would buy South Park episodes though.
