I don't care what reviews say I loved the demo and I want the game...

Unlike most people I prefer to do my own thinking and judge what I like not some neo maxxi zoom dweebie that is some fanboy trying to find out what a jolly trail is while surfing wikapedia...

So man I knows what I like so my advice HykCraft... think more for yourself and worry less on what other people think... Life is so much better that way!!!!

AoE III was the worst of the series. Look at the reviews. You don't want it.

I was suprised at how much better this was then BFMEII this is going to be a buy one day one...

My one question is for Major WHEN OH WHEN IS AGES OF EMPIRES III coming to the 360... my computer can't run it and I want this game so much please bring it to the 360...

I haven't really played BFME2, beyond the console demo, so I don't have that base to judge this from; but this demo was really solid, the boot camp tutorial did a great job of acclimatising me to the controls, and scale of the balance of forces (ex. don't charge in with infantry against vehicles, lol!)

I thought the controls were smooth and accessible, which is important, and felt that playing online would be a fully enjoyable experience. To Chris, above, I doubt you'll miss that mouse, of yours, everything's really smooth. :)

The FMV too, felt to me, just like the good ol' days on PC, lol, though the quality was nonetheless commendably high. I was surprised to find the control panel has now moved to a much more discreet location, bottom left, but you can now see more of the battle, and the info's still clear from its new location.

Well done to the team behind this, and the guys at MS for investigating the sluggish downloads that were reported. I'm looking forward to the full game coming out!

I have both the computer demo, and the xbox 360 version. Both in HD . . .

Xbox 360 version looks worse and is harder to control (of course, wishful thinking otherwise).

PC version for me. . .but a valiant effort. If you don't have a PC, it is worth considering.

Hey Major,

Fun demo. Only one complaint. As far as I can tell, you cant invite friends to play online. You click on Xbox live and it automatically joins you up with some random player? It seems odd to me. After all, Demos are made to make you buy the product. A big part of my decision to buy a game, is whether or not I can get my friends into it as well, for MPing. I know it was probably an EA decision, but does Microsoft make any recomendations one way or the other regarding demo MP capabilities? One great example is RainbowSixVegas. I probably wouldnt have bought that game, if it hadnt been for the fact that my friends and I could play that fantastic multiplayer level over and over and over. Just a thought. Download went great when I restarted it this morning.

I still cant get it to download in a decent speed.. this is the fourth time i canceled, deleted and restarted.. It should take around an hour to download the whole thing now it takes half an hour to get down one percent.

One would think that when you pay good money for this you would be able to get it the day after it was out but i guess not ey?

Still sweden
