No, you can't play H2 XBOX v. H2V. No cross platform play until Shadowrun.

Major, when you use the controller on Halo 2 PC, does it FEEL the same, aiming wise as on the Xbox/360? Cause when you're using a keyboard/mouse on it there is obviously no aim-assist on your reticule, but if it was like that when you used a 360 controller on your PC, you wouldn't be able to aim whatsoever. I'm just wondering if the game recognizes that you've linked a controller and enables some auto aim from there. If you could try playing Halo 2 on your 360 and your PC, both with a 360 controller and tell us all if the aiming feels the same, it would be awesome. :)

WOW! That's AWESOME! I don't know why I'm so interested in Games for Windows. Maybe it's because of the 360 and Xbox Live integration. I think that's pretty cool. I'm not a PC gamer at all. But I'm going to become one with this.

I'm also interested in Halo 2 all over again. I kinda hate the game but I want to play it on PC for the achievements (note: I'm not an achievements whore).

Anyways, I have a question, can Halo 2 (PC) players play againts Xbox/360 players online?

Thanks in advance! And please tell the entire Live Team that they are doing a great job! I have to buy a new PC to run the latest PC games and to create 3D graphics in Maya.

I have a question though. Will there be at some point in future be a option to habe live:anywhere enabled with vista itself?

You know, like having a friends list widget on your side bar.

Would be cool, because at the moment I spent most of my time playing WoW and don't have my 360 running all the time in the background just to see if any of my friends start a round of gears.

No Windows Vista Dashboard, nothing equivalent to the Xbox 360 Dashboard? Will there be a way to access the guide from Vista... besides accessing it in a game?

nice, it's about time they started merging the console and pc multilayer gaming..the only problem is the issue with aimbots and the likes.
