I haven't successfully played more than half my MP games due to these issues (all people with proper NAT settings). This type of stuff needs to be fixed since games are generally so long and a disconnect means you wasted a lot of time.

re: Arcade: Catan

This is the first game that I played the demo not knowing what to expect (I played the board game about 8 years ago) and as soon as I hit the end of the trial, without thinking I bought the full version! Ive been playing it ever since, forgeting about all my other games. Thanks MS for bringing this great game to live!!!!

There's me thinking MS were giving me a good customer incentive!!

Text is readable on my computer monitor - but I can imagine it being illegible on any standard def TV - not smart considering so many other developers have been hit with that before?

To those complaining about offline MP - wake up? You haven't even played the game have you?? Really... it'd be like playing offline multiplayer Texas Hold'em?? Yeah that's right - f*cking useless!

Anyway, top game - never played board game before, but like it plenty. One question -

Will there be any of the expansions downloadable?? There's no mention of it anywhere, but sounds like it would be a good idea!!

Its a simple card/board game, but its quite addictive. I didn't get a chance to play it over XBox live, but I think it would be good fun. Enjoyable game, well worth the money.

anyways, the trial is up

i can see why the trial was held back, graphics for an 800pt game usually live up to some sort of standard... not sure what standards they use for this game

i have a 32 inch lcd hd set, and it looks mediocre at best, the text in-game is really hard to see/read

the game itself seems cool, it looks like they gave you the option of "skip to next turn" against cpu, something i wish they would have done in texas hold em (not sure if that was fixed with the update... made the game make me sleepy)

ps - major, the trial IS up if you wanna edit your original thread text, etc.
