Coming from the days when Pong was the only video game I had to choose from and the Atari 2600 was on the horizon, I can appreciate the way games are evolving or have evolved.

We must realize that technology is moving faster than developers can keep up with. Can you imagine working on a game for say 3 or 5 years, only to realize that in a heartbeat, your project is getting old and could be scrapped at anytime! Scary stuff... Textures need to be revamped, code needs to be updated, physics and algorithms need to be tweaked again. What a mess things can become, real fast.

We need to appreciate and understand the hardships of making good games, verses cutting edge games. It has gotten to the point where gamers expect too much. Developers are trying their best to accommodate all of our wants and demands. It's a tough business to keep afloat.

Anyway, try to give some credit to the folks that brought us Crackdown. It may not be perfect, but it is great fun and took a lot of work to get out before the Halo 3 beta goes live.

Again, KUDOS to the Microsoft Game Studios and Realtime Worlds for bringing this gem to our local gaming store shelves! I am not a Crackdown fanboy. I just love games that let me blow things up! LOL :-)

Make sure to DL a small file before DLing the main package. It tells you to DL it first... It's a small Dl under the main package... I have had no problems, but I did start on a new machine (XB360 Elite) and a new save, so I am not sure if it destroys your old saves? If so, that's not good! MS needs to handle this ASAP!

Crackdown may not appeal to everyone, but I thought it was a great game. I am starting all over for the third time just to take advantage of the new content. Yes, I did spend the 800 points to get the goods, but as I said, I loved this game. As I get older, I am 48 this year, I am leaning towards simplicity, and this game hit the mark for me! KUDOS to Microsoft Game Studios and Realtime Worlds for bringing this gem to our selves!

I think more than half the people that bought this piece of crap bought it becuase the Halo 3 beta invite was included. As my buddy told me "If I knew the Halo 3 wasn't until May and only for a month I wouldn't have bought this game" , me personally I would have probably paid at most 30 bucks for this pie of XBLA crap which my buddy agreed this game is only worth 30 bucks. It is way too short, they didn't put enough into the other elements in the game, and alot of the modes are any fun without more than 2 players online which I hope they add to save this game from being a complete rip-off.

loved the extra content, as soon as I get home later I am sitting down and hijacking some cars, just cause I want the achievement for it, and I might get the premium DLC pack if it becomes free sometime (I dont own game, so if I have to give back to my friend = $10 down the tube) Or, I might just buy the GOW maps since I own that.

the whole deal with giving us more than 1k gamerscore on this game is kinda nice, especially if u just use the free stuff.

Gotta go orb hunting now, 1 more agility to find. :)
