This version of Pac-Man is really, really good... You nay-sayers should give it a try before you flap off about how it's over priced... It really does feel like a fresh new game... The pace and controls are both MUCH improved over the 2 retro ports...

I was never a big Pac Man fan back in the 1980's. However, the demo of this edition was very fun. I might have to rethink about buying it.

... oh yeah, and who'd have thought a few years ago that we could buy a great game for $5/$10 and not even have to get out of our chair?

For those of us who can remember inconvenient life before VCRs/Microwaves/Internet/Pausing Live TV/DVDs/Home Computers/Cellphones etc, the convenience factor of XBL is still not taken for granted.

Keep up the good work MS, we owe much of what we have to you!

Guess what kiddies? Retro games are great, and here's why... because, they cater for us old aged almost-forty-somethings who played them the first time around and have many happy memories of spending our 10p/25c in the local arcades! ..and guess what? Microsoft know we're the ones who have the money to buy them. Not like you young 'uns who have to save 6 months or sell your shoes/candy/puppies just to buy a used copy of a Burger King game.

Keep roling them out MS, we're here for you waiting with our cash!

Yeah, from reading about it and looking at screenshots, you might not think it was that much, but from playing it, wow. It might not be much to look at but it's incredibly fun to play. As far as gameplay goes this is like the leap from Robotron to Geometry Wars: RE.

I was skeptical, but after playing the demo, I'll be picking this one up. It looks really nice in HD, and I like the changes in gameplay. I'll spend a while playing this, when I don't feel like playing something more intense.

This sounded like such a stupid idea when I heard about it--but then I played it, and it really is fantastic. It's a full-on new thing, that's got some serious competitive depth to it.

Nice surprise!

And here I thought it was 800 points for a re-release of Pac-man with some new leaderboards.

Here's a question: If the Pac-Man World Championships was "presented by Quizno's", shouldn't the development costs already be covered? At the very least, you'd think Quizno's would be sponsoring the XBLA version to garner additional sub/sandwich/salad sales.

Very well done--it's almost got a puzzler aspect to it now as well. Very well-done graphics and animations...it's certainly worth the $10 for it.

Complain, complain, complain. I've spent $10 on far worse games than this before. It's actually pretty fun. If you don't like it, fine. Just quit b#$@&ing and moaning about it. Nobody is forcing you to buy it.
