Considering Xbox Live Silver accounts get access to the Video Marketplace, I think we're paying $0 for access to it. I'm sure Microsoft will happily refund your $0. The only reason to pay for Xbox Live is for online multiplayer (besides the occasional week-early release of free content).

Any updates on when the rest of the world will get to experience the video marketplace? Tell me why I pay to access Xbox Live again? I don't seem to get all the privledges that the bloody yanks seem to get. Not fair in my book. I should have to pay less since I get less!

You guys know that if you want to access the US marketplace all you have to do is make a US silver account from your dashboard. All it requires is a US phone number and a US address that you can find in a phone book. Then just use a yahoo mail account as the attached email.

Just buy microsoft points from your local game store and manually put them on the US silver account. Then you can purchase things from the US marketplace.

I have a silver account for every region.

The Playstation Online Store (POS for short) has different content for different regions too so stop making it out that MS is somehow falling down here. If you really think Sony has something better to offer, go use their video download service. Oh, right, THEY DON'T HAVE ONE. So if you are truly unhappy (and most of you whiners don't seem to get it that Silver (FREE) members get access to Video Marketplace so you aren't "getting less for your money" than U.S. members), go over to Sony and complain in their forums about their different (and non-existent) content for different regions. Placate yourself with their vast wealth of releases this last week (which was nothing but a couple of trailers) and try to delude yourself that "Sony is better". They can't even offer online play on their crappy Retro ports of Joust, so you think they're going to lead the online gaming revolution?

Super Size Dude, compare any European PSN Store to that of the USA and come back to us on that.

The main reason the PSN seems more equal is because it doesn't really have anything to begin with.

How much support and money are you losing not giving countries like the uk,the video content.

You have a massive fanbase across europe,but don't seem to care.

Can't the network handle us all at the same time.

We pay premium rate for everything,and get economy service.

I HATE TO SAY IT BUT AT LEAST SONY TREATS EVERYONE EQUAL.

It's attitude's and stuff said like that that's costing us alot of respect around the world.MS hasn't brought alot of the video marketplace out in other countries because of alot of complicated issues(laws) or ownership,distribution rights,international law,lots of costs, etc.etc..It's not because we are reater than anyone else or because MS hates any particular country or their particular population.

If MS is indeed working on bringing tv and movie conten to Canada,Australia,NZ, and every country in Europe, it's going to take them ALOT of time and ALOT of cash and ALOT of lawyers to get all of the work done.The reason the U.S. has alot of content is becase MS is an American company that has relationships with tons of other American companies and it's simply alot easier and cheaper to procure the media and distribute it on XBL here.Unfortunately that cannot be applied to every other country because deals for each country likely have to be worked out seperately.

You Europeans are just mad because the US of A is the greatest country in the world! Doesn't it make sense for the greatest country to get the best content? We make all the best movies and shows after all (except for the anime), so why shouldn't we have the best Video Marketplace? I don't think you people would be happy with Dr. Who anyway, or whatever crap your country produces anyway.

I know there's probably licensing issues and the like, hence why here in the UK we have nothing but Robbie Williams videos on the marketplace. However, seeing as the majority of content I see go up for the US is already available in the UK in one form or another (DVD, Sky, Cable On-Demand, Freeview etc etc), I really fail to see where the holdup is on some of it.

Also, when are they going to start accepting Switch/Maestro cards for payments? Not everyone has a Visa/Mastercard/AMEX/Discover(whatever that is) in the UK, but I have plenty of money on my Maestro card to give MS for some quality content ;-)
