Its obvious they're releasing the achievements before they release the maps for free to get a few more punters.

Nice to see the new achievements but the lancer is way to powerful now. It completely changes the game dynamic. I have also played matches with people who already found a new chainsaw glitch.

i can get my achievements now on gears but the "you down with E.P.I.C" im still not gettin my gamerscore for it.

Same here, I had the Epic one, now got the Subway one. Got the points for the Subway one but not the Epic one... this is BS. I'm so sick of the bugs and glitches in gears of war. Worked my butt off for these achievements and they don't work. Also why the heck don't they clean up the leaderboards??? I'm top 50 but should be top 40 because of the people who hack the game and cheat. I'm sick of Epic. Also still can't see my friends "new" achievements for GOW.

Damn, sucks I can't download the new maps from Ireland... I don't understand why it says "not available in your region". I was really looking forward to playing the new maps now!

sweet. i need something else to do on that game. would be good if they could sort out a better ranking system insteed of doin it on points should be done on true skill.

Here is the official update:

“We are aware that some players were experiencing issues with receiving points for unlocked Achievements as a result of the most recent title update. We have identified the issue and have implemented a solution. Those players that previously unlocked an Achievement specific to the latest title update, will be retroactively awarded with the proper Gamerscore points after they earn another Achievement in the game.”
