Being one of the people that actually play Shadowrun, allow me to say that it is one hell of a game. You knock it for not having enough maps, or game modes if you like, but I have to say that is one of the most fun online multiplayer games I have found.

It's a shame the full version of Shadowrun's not in the the top 10 this week. I bought it after playing the demo and I've had a fantastic time. The Shadowrun community have some of the best attitudes' I've come across in a Xbox Live title plus it's pretty cool to finally be able to play against pc gamers also. I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews'...Fun fun fun game!

It will take a long while for the PS3 to gain that much ground, since the Wii is dominating Japan also. However the xbox still has a lot to offer, IPTV for the xbox is golden, and would increase sales, also the video marketplace or Elite isnt even out over here in Europe. I belive there are many good games coming out for the xbox on the horizon (Bio-shock, Mass effect,Halo 3 GTA4...). But i am woried that there isnt much promotion of the xbox in the uk, and maybe not in Europe. Everywhere i go there is Wii advertisments. HD DVD could still be successfull in Europe. Microsoft must look more in the European Market, as it will be easier to dominate than Japan.

Shadowrun's an awesome game and worth the $59. The only one's who can complain really are those looking for a single player experience and those looking for clan matches. For the people saying you're only getting 1/4 of a game for full price, obviously haven't played it. Full lobbies,almost zero lag,and tons of fun. If you enjoy the demo you'll love the rest of the game. It's a blast to play.

I'm pretty bummed at the drop in quality since Gears of War. I don't even see 1 game on the horizon as good as gears, many of the titles like Forza 2 don't even look that much improved over their previous Xbox counterparts. Since the Wii's best game according to alot of people is the free game that came out with it is Wii sports and most of the games seem to have graphics comparible to a PSP / or some DS titles, I believe the PS3 might start gaining ground. Unless Xbox announces exclusives equivalent to Gears or Halo, the lead is pretty much over for the 360. Blockbuster Video is officially supporting the Blu-Ray format as the video format they are renting (70% of the people online were renting Blu-Ray from them they found), and now I am starting to doubt the lifespan of the HD-DVD addon, no wonder they didn't build it into the Elite. I'd like someone to set me straight, I know that Halo 3 probably won't convert a ton of people to 360s from original Xboxs becuase those people probably already own 360's, and since the Wii was a cool control thing which pretty much isn't as cool anymore now (and the controls were often not that accurate), doesn't it stand to be true that the PS3 is probably going to gain some significant ground with PS3 Home and Killer Apps?

That's a shame about Shadowrun. My lord the game always has a full room when playing, and they aren't repeat players either. Some people will never learn to speak their own mind here either. Those who say it's a 1/4 of a full retail game, or meh, no single player, etc. are just going along with the crowd (same crowd that gripes about ladder animations). The game is pure fun. One of the best online experiences that has graced the 360. I think people just can't admit that the game is not a "run and gun" like other FPS games, so they go with the flow and gripe on a common ground. Sure, the game has a steep learning curve. And yes, it's a team based game, which kills most of the crowd there as they want to be individuals and be the "king" of the game. Shadowrun doesn't allow that (thus the stat tracking...or lack thereof) and I'm glad that they don't offer it up.

Hopefully that high demo ranking will turn into sales. I'd like to know how sales are on the PC side, and if the ranking includes Vista users playing on Live. Can you comment Major?

Microsoft said they expect Shadowrun to have reliable sales over time. I think they will drop the price sooner than usual and hope people pick it up later on.

Only people who have been looking forward to it for long time would be willing to fork over the $60 now (like me).

Everyone forgets that there are MILLIONS of copies of Gears out there, and neither Forza or Shadowrun (or probably the two combined) have anywhere close to those kind of numbers. Throw in new achievements for Gears this week, and it's easy to see how it remains at number 1.

The stat I want to see is how many people are actually playing Forza vs. the number of hired drivers running races!

Major, is there any way to put up a 360 list that only shows the top 10 games that people are playing using real multiplayer modes, not including demos? Also, how does Prince of Persia land on the top 10 list, considering it's a Arcade title?
