Major,

A word of advice. You really should stop challenging Sony to come on your show. You would have a great debate I'm sure, but as soon as the mention the 3 Red Lights of Death you would get owned. Hardcore.

I mean what if Someone from Sony offered to compare true failure rates backed up by Hard Data? You can stand up and say MS doesn't share that data? Well then you lost any type of debate right there.

360 has great games and great online service, but does it really matter if systems need to be at the repair center 3/4 times a year?

I heard E's quick comment on Overlord's Play Magazine review. Dave Halverson does tend to over hype games from time to time (ok monthly), but I think he's dead on about Overlord.

e might want to look into the 2007 Miata with the retractable hard top... good for rainy climates... it'll still get out-accelerated by V6 minivans though. However, it is much more refined than the first two generations of Miatae, but is still not happy on the freeway (it's not geared for freeway cruising, it's still geared for attacking the twisties. ;->)

Also every time I've seen a guy in a TT or a TT roadster with the top up it looks like he's a sardine squished into a smashed down Volkswagon Beetle can... it just doesn't look right.

I'd vote for a slightly used Boxster S. I'm really impressed by the refined freeway ride and great performance...

Those recommendations are for manual transmission models... if e's going for automatics... well, there *is* only one choice, the DSG in the Audi's/VW's.

First off Major I love the podcast and I am only being critical for the sake of improving the show.

This episode had some extreme volume variations. Your mic especially was much louder than E's and your recorded interviews were lower volume as well. I listened to the show while commuting and had the chance to listen over headphones and two different stereos (car & office). On all of them your voice was very loud and included some distortion. Maybe there is an audio compressor filter or application you can run the show through after it's completed to just level out all the various sound sources each week?

I love the show and listen faithfully. I don't care how long it is (the longer the better) if you have the content, interviews, and segments to fill the time. Keep up the good work.

Why do you always post shows twice with the only difference being one with mp3 downloads and one with wma downloads? Just post both file types in one post, and it will save a lot of space on the page
