This demo is pretty awesome.

I didn't like it at first because of the slower pace, but it's really growing on me. All the new animations look great, and plays really smoothly.

There's still way too many tripping penalties though, lol.

Hwow this game is amazing now 2k is probably craping there pants from just hearing the reviews for 08. But i still wanna try out the 2k demo first(i do have to say i havent bought a 2k game since 05' and i tried the 2k7 demo it was crap so i dont have high hopes for 2k8 so basicly 08 is gonna get my 59.99 + tax).

Why not in Austria? Also Madden is not available here. I can't see any reason for that. This is very annoying for customers. And its absolutely unnecessary to annoy customers with things like that. I normally never complain about 360 or XBox Live because its such a great system, and I understand that video marketplace is hard to release worldwide at the same time. But why to hell you are starting to not release demos like this worldwide? I can't understand why Germans should get this but people in Austria not. And the not-understanding is the point that really annoys me :-(

This game is fantastic. 2K8 is gonna have to really step it up, I HATED 2K7.

Looks like the same game, though it has updated rosters and seems like the animation's smoother. Don't think I want to pay $60 for slightly smoother animation. Don't THINK I do...

Its so much better than 07

- better graphics (especially faces)

- 60 fps very smooth feeling

- awesome animations, new skate ones !!!

- the offense is much more organized, not as hasty as it was in 07, more like it was in NHL 2k7, so less offsides

- the skill stick feels even better

- not every hit results in a puck loss

for me as an european hockey nerd (pretty rare =P) a must buy
