Major, you totally skipped mentioning the D-pad problems to the hardware guys even though you mentioned it in the interview.

I think it's cool they are releasing accessories for Halo, but what about the Elite owners? Do I have to keep my white/grey headset? or can I get an elite colored one sometime in the near future? I also want to pick up the Live Messenger Kit, but it's only the white keypad. Do I have any Elite accessories to look forward to?

I liked the show a lot more when it was short and actually about video games.

I don't really care about where you went for breakfast at PaX. How about actually talking about what you SAW at PAX? Your coverage of the actual event was next to nothing. I also don't want to hear anymore talk about E watching Planet Earth. I've heard enough! Every week he has to throw that in there. Criminy... Nor do I care what he is buying off of Amazon.com unless it's gaming related.

Please bring the gaming back into your blogcast.

What a nice show, packed full of 2 hour happiness !

Major, the Arari ST ROCKS ! STOS was my first programming language. And the ST mag even came with disks with all KINDS of goodness !

The original Space Quest was my favorite !

The Jeff Minter interview was worth the wait. Thanks Major. What Jeff needs to do now is produce Tempest 3000 for the 360 on Arcade. This is essential really for all Arcade gamers.

Nice show Major, I enjoyed most of it, but...... you gotta do something about E and his stories. He should have drank some liquid gummy bears before the show..... because he is seriously boring. Plus he has the type of voice only a deaf mother could love.... not quite monotone, but really drab and uninteresting. The after show was so bad my computer went into sleep mode.... took me 10 mins to wake her up. (yup my pc's a chick and she loves the way I finger her <-Back space)

Sorry to be mean... I don't dislike you E, I'm sure your a nice guy.... it's just that your stories are sorely lacking substance, yet long winded and overly detailed. It's like listening to a cop reading your rights.... your listening, but you don't really care.....your just hoping that tomorrow your a$$ won't be sore.

And the funny thing is..... is that it's not like Major is drilling you for the boring info. Your offering it up,.. like it's a gold nugget or something..... when in reality, it's a brown nugget.

I know I sound like a dick... that's my burden to bear. You see I had to speak up.... for the good of the machine. The needs of the many blah blah blah ...

Good show but you said you gave it to the controller guys about the D-pad before rolling the interviews, then while doing the interview said you needed to talk to the controller guys about the D-pad...BUT NEVER ACTUALLY SAID BOO ABOUT THE LOUSY, SQUISHY D-PAD!!! What happened???!!!

SCART (euroAV) only carries RGB, S-video and Composite video signals and none of those support higher-definitions (only 576i and 480i).

SCART+RGB is ideal for SD for PAL regions but is beginning to be outdated (even if perhaps now more used than ever with dvd players, consoles and digital set top boxes). Was introduced around ~1986.

What comes to VGA upscaling, it sort of sucks for PAL DVDs since 60hz causes slight juddering where PAL users are used to supersmooth 25fps (24fps sped up to 25 = perfection for decades before "1080 24p").

PAL has been ideal for DVD movies due to the 25fps "progressiveness" (both fields draw same frame) and higher resolution of 576 lines
