this game sucks crap, its the same as project 8 with a couple new features, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, its nothing close to realism, in real life you can spine transfer freaken 100 metres into the air, the best skateboarding game out would have to be SKATE, its the greatest skateboarding game ever, it is full on real not like this shitty game

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, activision have just modified project 8 and put in new features

If the full THPG game is so bad, maybe thats why they are including a guitar hero 3 demo so it will sell better. THPG comes out a week before GH3, but hopefully the GH3 demo will be available on live at the same time.

TO whoever said skate isnt out till the 21st:

Skate is out today in the UK I believe. A friend of mine had it on preorder from GAME.

Anyway for me the Franchise died a little bit after THPS4, then the last good game in my opinion was THUG2.

Played project 8 and thought it was terrible hope this is nothing similar.

Gonna download this but i won't buy it. The Skate. demo itself i enjoyed more than the whole games of THUG2 and P8. Sorry Tony time to hand your crown over to the new kid on the block.

Mitchell the first time I wasn't sure but the second time I read the exact same post I was sold.

To everyone claiming skate is more realistic, no crap. But it's not as much fun. Tony hawk has always been an outlandish game, real skateboarding isn't as much fun as Tony Hawk for a reason. Skate is good, but Tony is gold.

Seriously, Skate totally kills this game. Analog sticks make much more sense than pushing buttons - you're much more connected to the movement in the game. Skate feels so organic. I feel like Tony Hawk was good for its time, but its time was a long time ago.

In the uk, we dont get skate til the 21st. I wanted it tomorrow (Being my birthday 'n' all) But its got delayed.

Tony Hawk franchise is dead. Just the lone 'skate.' demo bodied the WHOLE franchise, then THIS demo picked up the dead corpse and buried itself 8 feet under. The Tony Hawk name brand has been murdered hurt by 'skate.' It's crazy how the 'skate.' demo killed a whole franchise. Anyway, 'skate.' FTW, Tony Hawk FTL.

P.S. Whoever said 'skate.' was hard to learn was mentally challenged. 'skate.' was the easiest game I have ever played it felt natural, it took me less than 5 minutes to become efficient at playing that game.

Hobiologe - The fifa demo was confirmed about 10 days ago. Its coming on the 13th September (tomorrow).

Is it me or did Project 8 looks and play much better than this one? I think I'll stick to SKATE...sorry Tony, you had a great run, but I'm just not feeling it anymore.
