COD 4 is such a better game than H3, I havent played H3 since COD4 was released and no one on my list out of the hundred play H3, so I cant see how its no 1 except maybe a few poorpers that cant afford a new game are stuck playing shitty Halo..

Why does the CoD4 fanboys act like whinny little b*ches whenever something does not go their way? I like the game too but for god's sake - who cares whats number 1? As long as I am playing the game, I am happy - thats a true gamer.

To be honest this list has to be fake. Due to so many people sayin they see no one on there friends list playing halo and me one of them. I think its just marketing from microsoft to show halo 3 dominating so increses sales. Call of duty 4 should be 1 imo. Plus GOW will climb back up because ive seen alot of people playing it now.

I expected this to be the order- Halo 3, COD4, and Assasins Creed all taking the top 3 spots. I think that COD4 is an awesome game, better multiplayer and weopons, but Halo has and will always be the easiest game for players to play. If you havent played COD4, you will need to play it awhile to get theng of it. But i also think that H3 has sold more. When it comes down to it, there is usually 250k playing h3 and there is like 200 k play cod4. theres your odds for number 1.

The arcade list really should be renamed to something like Top Arcade Purchases. A game like Carcassonne that now has a billion players isnt even on the list.

The main games list works properly because it rewards games that are POPULAR, not just hit-of-the-day.

I have to admit I think CoD4 belongs on top as well. Lots of Halo faithful out there though (not me). Been a long time since a game as addicitve as CoD4 MP has come along. One of the nicer aspects at least until I played last night is that there hasn't been near as many 12-14 year old trash talking (insert plural noun here)on CoD4 as I have come across on Halo games.

To all who are whining like little bitches about COD not being top. Just get over it. i dont like COD along with many other people, just like you prefer CoD rather then halo 3, why would they cheat the list. my freinds are allways playing halo 3 i dont give a *** about if all yours are playing COD...

I'd be extremely surprised to see Halo fall. You guys remember anything about the "biggest media launch ever"? Yes, COD4 is a better game, but halo is halo. I'm done with it, but there are still millions of people playing it.
